What does being a good wife have to do with being successful? You can walk and chew gum at the same time, unless if you are married to someone whom you have to take care of like a child, no one asks Muslim men if they can be successful men and a good husbands.
Don't get married ull be nothing but an unnecessary burdon on the husband
JazakAllahu khairan for your comment, sis. Did you find the answer to your question in the process of the conversation? It has something to do with the fact that professional success allows a man to better perform his primary role (as provider), whereas professional success does NOT allow a woman to better perform her primary role (as homemaker/wife/mother). Does that make sense?
the traits that require you to be successful are very different from the traits that require you to be a good marriage partner. the former traits are not conducive to a healthy marriage and are unattractive because men are not interested and don't look for them in a woman whereas women do require them in a man. man look at other more important things. also some of that success makes the woman economically dysfunctional meaning that her work is not compatible with starting a family. such women have a hard time getting married unsurprisingly

Because nowadays men are finding it harder to marry because a lot of successful women say they dont need a man. We are having the conversation in regards to that discourse. Me, Mariam & Naima provided insights into what it takes for an independent, successful woman to be a good wife. Just because you're a successful woman doesn't mean you're automatically a good wife. Women who have success find it extremely hard to submit to a husband due to their success. They find it hard to let a man lead etc. A good wife is a woman who is loyal, respectful, agreeable, faithful, submissive & obedient.
