Dude...yes. im so glad I'm not the only one who notices this It seems like hardly anyone is noticing how dim the lightsabers look especially when they're swinging them. I don't know why they don't just use neo/xeno pixel sabers. They probably are cheaper then whatever the show uses.
The dialogue is apparently abysmal too so you’ll need all the perseverance you can muster. The first episode’s fight scene should’ve been the perfect setup for cortosis but the incompetent writers threw it in when Smilo slaughtered the Jedi as a cheat tool while simultaneously borking power scaling. I’m currently in to the process of editing the PT & OT (with AI) and must say the editing is quite perfect. People might not like EP1 but it doesn’t skip a beat, the dialogue is delivered amazingly well and the scenes are deliberate in telling the information the story wants to get across.
Damn if I had the money I'd send it all to Ivan to fix so he could just hire voice over actors to fix all the terrible dialogue. Hell if I had the money I'd let him make a whole new show
This. There is nothing that can be recovered from Headlands show. It is vile and actively seeks to subvert and destroy GL’s Star Wars. It should not be fixed because the show runner didn’t make mistakes. She knew what she was doing and as a result her work should buried because there is no remedying the malicious intent of the show. Only hiding it. And it’s better to know something is out to destroy what you love than pretend otherwise.
@@chichiboypumpi Show never clicked me with me, it felt souless. And I'm an easily please-able ungah bungah action guy and still couldn't enjoy it. But I kept giving it more chances until early season 2. Never looked back. When season 3 happened, I laughed how even the fanboys started turned on it.
@@goldman77700 I thought it honored Lucas's vision of a space western, a bit of western show nostalgia with season 2's first episode and 'borrowing' heavily elements from Japanese movies and shows pasts, even looked past the actor's ego of an early face reveal destroying the illusion of mystery, oh well that's woke shizney for you and the current entertainment state.
Where can I find your fixed Last jedi fix ? Also I don't know if you can fix this... The last Jedi still had decent acting and sets, this show just has nothing going for it.
It hurt me a lot to watch the series, and I did it only once. If you undertake the endeavor to edit this mess, I'm sorry for what you'll have to go through
Seventy times watching The Last Jedi!?! I knew you had to go through a lot of pain…but 70 times!?! Torture. Simply torturous. I understand you are not sure if you can fix The Acolyte, but I really hope you can. Except for Rogue One, some of The Mandalorian, and your TLJ Re-Edit, there is no other new Star Wars to watch.
Unless someone is paying you to fix this show, don't. It's not worth your time in the slightest. It can't be fixed IMO. All we can do at this point is move on.
So you said not to hate it but to pick the good moments, but you proceeded to hate it the minute you started the first seconds of the Acolyte episodes, lol. Nevertheless, it's garbage and hard not to hate on it
Look, I am just gonna tell you this right now Ivan - just give up on this project, Acolyte is entirely salvageable. It not so much the editing that is the problem, its the characters and plot itself that destroys this series befire it can even get off the ground. Your attention would be better placed elsewhere.
The lightsabers are so thick and less colorful cause they use "neon-flash- tubes" or whatever it's called while shooting. I really hate it too.

Ivan! Finally! My lawn has been looking rough.
Ivan, you have a real talent editing film and should be working on a major project.
Dont lose your time
Polishing a turd doesn’t stop it from being a turd, this script is impossible.
Stopp do this there is no hope do something better talk about deadpool 3, alien Romulus or the New Terminator anime series that will come out🤔

I’m excited to see how m us if this can be salvaged, the ideas were there but they fucked up everything past the first brainstorm they had lol
Because of critics suffering these shows, I haven't suffered shizney star wars past Mandalorian season 2
Smart man, that's where I stopped with Disney Wars TV but long before the finale.
@@goldman77700 I got a bad feeling seeing the all-female and one Mando assault against Moff Gideon
