MONTE CIVETTA: a fantastic experience in the Dolomites

This is a slightly different video than usual, it's all shot on my smartphone (Huawei Mate 20) and no proper vlogging but only images and some voice-over.
In September 2019, I hiked till the top of Monte Civetta, a 3220m high mountain the Dolomites and one of the most iconic peaks in the Alps.
It's been a really long hike/climb. It took us around 6 hours to reach the top following the Via Ferrata Degli Alleghesi.
We've been able to take some really great landscape photographs and timelapses!
After the sunset shooting, we slept at Rifugio Torrani, a tiny mountain hut below the top, and we hiked up again at sunrise to enjoy the first lights of the day.
It's been such an amazing experience!

Such an amazing mountain! Thanks for the excellent job, brings back some beautiful memories, we climbed Civetta just a couple of days later, on 17 September, 2019. The Dolomites, could go back there endlessly. And Julian Alps, by the way, also come very close on the beauty scale, but are much less appreciated...

è stato pazzesco! siamo scesi dalla via normale (anche quella in gran parte ferrata)

Bruno, please do never leave your camera on a tripod on an exposed spot like that peak again. I had one camera blown over by strong winds, very expensive mistake. So I was smart and only left the carbon tripod standing. Guess what, it was blown over and the ballhead broke. So please learn from my mistakes and do not sacrifice that beautiful Z7 to the wind...
Hi! it was zero windy so that was fine. I also had some bad experiences with wind+tripod.... camera fell on the ground and a lens broke. Lesson learned!
Bruno Pisani by the way some of your drone footage is among the best I have ever seen (and apart from my RUclips Alter Ego I am a Pro Photographer so I know what I am talking about) . Keep up the great work, you are doing a fantastic job...

haha. I had all the gear. But I am always warm when I hike, so I like to hike up shorts and t shirt if temperatures allow it, and then put warmer clothing when I reach the top
