I'm 39 and I've been watching Ultimate since I saw it at EVO when Tweek/MKleo went head to head. This game is very entertaining to watch and I'm so proud of Sparg0at! Truly the best competitive fighting game to watch as a spectator. I was so upset when EVO no longer had a spot for this game:( This tournament was amazing and so is this video! Quick work AVRhits! You don't mess around with the editing.

Dude, everyone says that Shadic didn’t get any top 10 wins but the only opportunities he’s got was sonix and sparg0 which in my opinion, those two were playing like their top five best tournament runs and another thing don’t count the kid out. He’s going to make waves at riptide mark my words.
Great movie! I really enjoyed the interview footage and the subtitles. I'd prefer if the title didn't spoil the winner so I could link the video to my friends and let them guess til the end.
@@avrhits yea the interviews might give it away, which you could have in a different order if you wanted to create a twist, but at the very least anyone thinking about viewing the video wouldn't be spoiled by the title (Unless the title is a bait, lol).
One crazy stat from this tournament is that 5/8 Top 8 players were from Japan and despite that, the only sets won by Japanese players in that top 8 were against each other. Between Mexico, USA and Dominican Republic, it was the NA show.
Leo was the best player throughout the games history, and Acola has been the #1 since 2023. Sparg0 has always trailed behind those two being ranked #2-#3, barley missing #1 in 2023. This year was the first time he ranked under the top 3 being 9th, so winning this tournament, made up for his under performances this year and put him in a lead to #1
Leo is the goat, undisputed, but in the past year and change he has fallen off results wise. He's still crazy good and still considered one of the best but he is not at top form. (Might change soon though, his results haven't been too bad at all these past majors)
