Thank you!!! I thought I needed a replacement but opened it up, straightened the laces which were twisted and causing the dialer to be stuck and not rrelease - it's working!!! cheers!
ATTENTION! If you're gonna do this, when you install the laces they are NOT opposite each other! They are offset, so if you install the wires incorrectly, it will get stuck under the bayonett. They do NOT explain this in the instructions and now I'm stuck with a set that looks fine, but I can't get to smoothly release the cable. So frustrating. It's not damaged technically, but it doesn't work right. Hopefully they honor my warranty because the instructions were close but completely glossed over this.
There's a good reason they don't show how to lace a side Boa. Because it it extremley difficult to do, particularly the last part of feeding the wire back through the bayonet. Certainly is on my Invado Pros and thus far this isn't a quick 10 minute fix!
I have the Vans Verse snowboard boots and the wire for the side dial broke, on your website it says H4 but I cant figure out how to get the dial loose. It does not have indicators on the bayonet. Please help!
Very helpful, I spent 10 minutes to fix my boa with this instruction

This is easily the best how to video I’ve ever seen for anything I’ve ever had to do. Great job
Love to hear it!
Seriously. Great job to the people that produced this video. Keep them on.
Is it normal that the scewdriver destroys the plastic when doing this operation?
I like how zach gets a reply

true, the side one is different...
so both lace ends have to be fed in? Lost me on that last section.
If anyone is in a pinch 1/32 7x7 wire is almost identical to the lace. But I wouldn’t trust the strength for a permanent fix
