- In this video Matt Dubber of Element Optics and @AirArmsHuntingSA walks us through the newly released FX DRS. Thanks to Matt for taking the time to give me an honest assessment of the airgun. Keep in mind that this airgun comes in several configurations, and the specifications he''s quoted will vary from model to model and tune to tune.
The item featured in this video is an air powered pellet rifle. The video was filmed at the 2024 Great British Shooting Show in Birmingham, UK. No airguns are fired during this video.

Nice to meet you this morning at the Great British Shooting Show. Thanks for taking the time to have a chat. All the best, Mark
Good to have the time for a chat. I hope you’ve enjoyed the show as much as I have.
My next rifle.😮
Hey now That's right ✅️
The walnut stock is pretty sweet too.
I’ve got mine on order!
They sold out pretty quickly here!
Nice to see a light weight rifle in the FX DRS for pesting. My first thought for a carry rifle like this is why did they not include sling studs in the stock. Next does this rifle use the same magazine as the Panthera, I hope we don't need to be buying expensive extra magazines for volume pest shooting. I know with the introduction of a new rifle more information will come out but does this rifle have the same user power adjustability like for the hammer and regulator like other FX's.
Let me get those answers for you tomorrow.
I have some more info for you.
It uses the Crown/Maverick/Wildcat magazines, as long as you get the scope high rail. It ships with a smaller magazine that allows for a lower scope profile.
The walnut stock I saw had a sling swivel.
The hammer spring is adjusted by Allen key at the back of the action, and the reg is externally adjustable.
@@WiscAirGunners PJ thanks for coming through with those answers. You're a good man.
@@williamr9537 I try. And when the guy responsible for the design is at the same booth it seemed a waste not to ask.
I think you only get 60-66 depending on .22 or .177 at subs 12ft/lb
Sadly they wouldn’t let me walk over to the range and test it out.
I THOUGHT MATT DIDN'T LIKE COMPANIES THAT COPY!!!!!!!!
WHAT A JOKE.
Looks like another o ring eating and leaking machine. And of corse FX fanboys will buy it and say : it's a GAME CHANGER 🤣
An other FX hater. Suck it up dude.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
