What do YOU like? | Sony FX3

Struggle is a blessing in disguise, but I didn't feel that way in the moment. I don't think anyone does.
But all the pain, regret, and anxiety led me to change my life.

For most of life, I was following the path that others laid out for me.
I never really took the time to ask myself, "What do I like?"
Truthfully, I was probably afraid to, because I knew the answer would tell me I'm on the wrong path.
So I kept busy. Avoided the question.
But you can only ignore the elephant in the room for so long before you find yourself crushed by its weight.

I moved away from my hometown when I graduated university, and the pandemic started not long after.
The combination of being in a new city plus the shutdowns meant I spent a lot of time alone.
That time alone taught me a lot about myself because I asked myself hard questions.
A lot happened since then, but long story short, I'm no longer an engineer. I'm a full-time filmmaker.
I love my career. I love life. And most importantly, I'm learning how to love myself.
