Thanks for not making these Shorts. They are terrible and it's likely I wouldn't have seen them since RUclips's interface only shows *some* Shorts and doesn't show the channel name so I wouldn't have known it was from you. Not to mention the horrible aspect ratio mis-match and how they loop and auto-play other random nonsense.

So happy for the feedback from everyone regarding shorts. I was going to go for a poll but this is obviously the answer. They take way to long to produce in the first place. Thanks everyone.

It's great to get this feedback. I have no idea if anyone likes shorts and it sounds like most people don't. That is extremely useful to me in bringing the right kind of value to the channel.

Hi Darren, thanks for the hints. There were times the ALT+ SHIFT/CTRL within Sketcher WB was usable for getting another sketch from another boby (Non active body) but is not possible any more. You're always bringing to us very useful information, thanks very much.
PS* Any idea how to renumber (Not renaming) the sketch number in case of of a multi-sketch occasion? This would be very handy if meanwhile we have deleted some sketches...

FreeCAD measures dimensions to the center of lines; InkScape measures dimensions to the outside of objects. Thus, the widths of lines makes these dimensions different for the same object.

You be happy to know I won't be using shorts :) they are way too time consuming and I have to rearrange all the windows each time. I can't find anyway they can be of value to the channel except for model previews and coming soon teasers.

I have yet to find the value of them. I can't teach anything in under 1 minute and I have to rearrange the windows each time. The only thing I can see they are useful for is some kind of index / preview to models created. I tried one and that took two days to sort everything out and put it back to how it was again.

In the Inscape, two options down in Document Properties you have a button that automatically resizes the page to the content, no need to do it manually 😊. Its a very handy feature.

AWESOME! Tips for working in Tech Draw (TD) and Ink Scape are so welcome. I am forced to start only moving my FreeCAD parts to TD and using TD for just dimensions, because with "Frame Views" ON, annotations, detail etc., gets so confusing when I am arranging my parts in order to print.
When I use A3_Landscape_ISO7200_Pep.svg template and export as PDF then email to my print shop (my printer doesn't do 11" x 17") and have instructed them to please do not change the scale (no fit to print) However the lower few inches of the sheet gets cut off. Print Shop advised me that their software shows their printer's print size defaults to 16.54" x 11.69", but on 11' x 17" paper is not going to work. OK, I reposition my parts and it prints out to scale (1:1) but my border and title box still gets cut-off. My other option is to go to A2 but my print shop does not print larger than A3.
Technically this is not a mystery, right, but I need a 1:1 part so I can use them as the template to glue to the sheet metal and cut out, thus reducing a lot of steps.
Apparently now it is even more important that I get efficient in Ink Scape (or another similar software). Now I see why I have watched a few RUclips videos that show how to create your own FreeCAD TechDraw templates, but no matter what if I want a part printed 1:1 that only fits on 11" x 17" or larger paper then like everybody suggests do not have a border!
Any Suggestions will be very appreciated!

I always learn great new tips from you. Thanks. But one thing I don't get is assembly constraints using edges. Are there parts in the real world that are constrained on edges? I know freecad and others allow this method and the LCS assembly method, but does anyone align real parts that way?
