Glad I found this I have a son with autism and I’ve been thinking on getting him an emotional support dog That will help when he feels overwhelmed

So excited for this new training series! I am teaching my dog bouncing leg and scratching interruption (she’s a pet not a sd)! Also, what’s the difference between an interruption and a response? Hope y’all have a wonderful day!

Can you please give us a tip or a video of how to make a sd walk at the same time as you (by you’re side), and make him only be concentrated in you, not on anybody else or any noise. Please and thank you.😔

For a good heel i suggest using a prong as it has the best communication, and for a better focus use high value trests snd teach a "focus" or "look at me" command

How do you deal with having him do paws up if you’re taking him to class and the desk is short? I would think he might hit his head. Would you leave class or the place in that situation?

This was very informative video. Thank you for making it. I would be interested to see your one on how to train a touch behavior interruption. I’m getting a Shih Tzu puppy soon and I’m considering teaching at tasks like alerting to anxiety and I wondered if you might do a training video on how you told Wesley to do that? Also do you think a sheet Sue would be too small to perform deep pressure therapy?

Where can I find your video on training a SD to paw to interrupt instead of jump up? I tend to leg bounce and fidget when at tables so jumping up won’t work to well.

Do you do retrieval’s? Opening any kind of doors? Pressing accessible door buttons? Getting water/medication?

  • @jefftawater561

Is there a video showing how to do the pawing alert instead of the jump up alert?

Is Wesley a miniature golden doodle or is he just a miniature poodle?

      He's a doodle, hence the channel name. : )

@@sarahbrennan545 I'm sorry it came out as rude, I just meant to point it out to show you that she was a doodle, as you might have specifically wanted the owner's reply only and thought my answer was a guess. :(
