Never brewed with blackcurrant but this is a very interesting idea! That color is absolutely awesome! Looking forward to the next series!

Very impressed with blackcurrant, it’s definitely very strawberry like in my opinion though where you need a fair few blackcurrant to make the flavour stand out

Never thought I'd hear someone use such a hard sarcastic "spasibo" like... ever. The books only wanted a taste themselves xP

Kolsch has got to be my favourite style. If you're ever in Australia, you must try Eagle Bay and Margaret River Kolsches. The first is available nationwide, the second only in the southwest :)
Eagle Bay use pure rainwater and because they're right on the ocean, you get a little salt and minerals in their base so they have quite unique beers.

Hi! Love the content and the D&D series is ace!! I have taken a plunge with a 40l brew tank…. Do you have any top tips for a new user???

Thanks very much! Glad you’re enjoying :)
Ooh nice one!! Top tips I’d have to say would be to consider attaching the pump direct to butterfly valve on the out port. Saves you needing more space for the hose to go through!
Also recommend getting a different hose as the one that gets supplied might Kink when hot wort passes through. Think MaltMiller sell z good titanium reinforced one or whatever it was called!

Another fine vid 👌 That’s a beer that screams ‘drink me’! We’ve always been disappointed with using peel in boil and FV. Purée spot on for aroma. Will have to try those mandarina hops at some point!

      Thanks very much!
It really was that nice, kept going for more and more sips!
How come disappointed? Not strong enough?
I feel like mandarina Bavaria mixed with the peel really gave it that orange flavour

@@NikitaVorontsov yeah just not strong enough. I sense an experimentation video approaching 😉

This looks delicious! How did you decide how much orange peel and blackcurrant puree to use?

      Thanks!
Honestly completely winged it, decided at an arbitrary number to see how that goes

I'm not a fan of beers, never had one that hasn't made me sick from a single sip. I don't know why but three hundred varieties of beer so far and they all taste like piss smells. my area even has a locally made IPA called the Mens room Floor, and it tastes like the name. Meanwhile, I'd happily try what you made here, just to get a chance at a beer that tastes like something worthy of imbibing.

If you’re not a fan of beers it might be the fact that sadly a lot of the current trends are Hop Heavy IPAs which aren’t too approachable as a style imo!
Definitely try some fruitier ones, maybe sours could also be up your street :)
