I had flashed this rom the day it was released. And my experience with the battery backup was excellent too, But it was the charging speed that was the real pain (as I was previously using project elixir 3.12 android 13 and it had very good charging speed). And i think this was a very nice review of the pixel os rom.

Great Review, i have been running the PixelOS on my Redmi Note 10 Pro for a month now as my daily driver, the only feature I miss is slow motion videos and face unlock, besides that, I am cruising nicely.

I got it especially for the custom rom support. The camera slaps tho. I am on Graphene OS and getting access to Pixel Camera no matter what ROM I go with is amazing!

you should normally get a better battery backup with PixelOS Android 14. i did a clean flash and this was one of the early android 14 builds I tested, if you are using any latest build, it might be a bug or something (so wait for an update)

You can use pixelos recovery as well and the installation is similar to any other recovery. I have twrp recovery on my phone and that's what I used to flash pixelos..

Everything should work properly but some versions might have bugs. so if you are completely dependent on UPI apps, try any other custom rom or stay with MIUI..

Hi bro.. I tested the initial android 14 build of this rom and there were a few bugs here and there. Since then, there have been multiple updates but I could not test it so I won't be able to give you a proper suggestion. If you see the previous history, PixelOS has always been really good overall with minimal bugs so you can give it a try..
As far as I remember, the version I tried had face unlock and fast charging.. you can wait for a couple of updates, it should come to android 14 as well..

It should come with an updater, just go to settings > system > download the update and click install (this applies if you are using a recommended recovery, most probably pixelos recovery)
Idk if it's just me (Redmi Note 9 Pro Global joyeuse) but some things suddenly/randomly started working... like face unlock (it suddenly started working this morning) and battery estimate while in settings and QS, i think

2 weeks ago , finally I was able to get some time from my hectic corporate job and flash Pixel Experience Plus Rom on my Redmi note 10 pro. It's Android 13, running great. It has some screen flickering issues but not it happens rarely. Your videos helped a lot! Switching Rom on a primary device is really really difficult and takes a lot of effort, especially the data backup and then restore. If you have any video on data backup and restore do provide a link And if not then may be consider making a video on if if it's possible. Love your content bhai!

This custom ROM is really good but heating issue is still there and it causes sudden battery drain. Camera on this ROM is somehow modified, results are not same as stock. Major issue is the corrupt find my storage error that pop up after going back to stock ROM.

They are almost the same but the developers are different. You get a little bit extra customization with PixelOS and sometimes the battery backup is also better. Now pixel experience development has stopped so you won't receive any new updates..
I guess you are using the global version of redmi note 10 pro which has nfc, the Indian version does not have it.. so it's probably a bug if tap to pay doesn't work (would recommend trying any other custom rom if you use tap to pay more often)

In google photos, just above the main video slider at the bottom you can see a second slider for slow-motion (dotted lines), drag both the handles towards the end to play the whole video in slow-motion.. or you can use any other gallery application to play the slow-motion video..

Hey bro.. I have seen many users reported this issue but I think it is because of the recent update. You can downgrade to the previous build or wait for the next update, and that should resolve the issue..
yes most stable custom roms will support fast charging like pixel experience plus, spark os, pixys os, etc. you can check the official custom rom website or the telegram groups to get more information..
@tusharchauhan448 it's not that difficult but you can start with unlocking the bootloader first because that's the most important step. take a full backup of your phone because your phone will be formatted while unlocking the bootloader. I have made a video on how to unlock the bootloader but you can watch any other video as well, there are a lot of videos on youtube... Currently! How many SOT are you getting with EvolutionX ? Although I have been using pixel os from last year and my experience is great with this rom, I have the issue with battery backup and heating while charging the smartphone.
Normally work profiles are managed by any organization, I couldn’t see an option to create it directly but you should be able to create it if your organization allows you to..

This is PixelOS, Pixel Experience is a similar ROM but it's not the same.
Pixel Roms always have bad battery time and charging speeds compared to MIUI due to the silent, unknown kernels MIUI use.

Previously and now using project elixir a13 stable.. for flashing a14 i format data, then wipe, dalvik, data, cache, then flashed matrix os a14 but got error while flashing

I'm not very sure about unlimited google photos storage but I think you should get an option to enable it..
This custom ROM is really good but heating issue is still there and it causes sudden battery drain. Camera on this ROM is somehow modified, results are not same as stock. Major issue is the corrupt find my storage error that pop up after going back to stock ROM.

They are almost the same but the developers are different. You get a little bit extra customization with PixelOS and sometimes the battery backup is also better. Now pixel experience development has stopped so you won't receive any new updates..

I guess you are using the global version of redmi note 10 pro which has nfc, the Indian version does not have it.. so it's probably a bug if tap to pay doesn't work (would recommend trying any other custom rom if you use tap to pay more often)

In google photos, just above the main video slider at the bottom you can see a second slider for slow-motion (dotted lines), drag both the handles towards the end to play the whole video in slow-motion.. or you can use any other gallery application to play the slow-motion video..

Hey bro.. I have seen many users reported this issue but I think it is because of the recent update. You can downgrade to the previous build or wait for the next update, and that should resolve the issue..

@tusharchauhan448 it's not that difficult but you can start with unlocking the bootloader first because that's the most important step. take a full backup of your phone because your phone will be formatted while unlocking the bootloader.
