Benjamin Koller Mr. Koller, I am incredibly sorry for your loss. I’ve had touching conversations with Stephen and Nate as well as Michael Gallagher in the past few months and I have an idea of how difficult this time has been for you all, but only a vague one. Tragedy of this nature is something you’re never prepared for and dealing with the aftermath is the most repugnant part of living. I applaud your strength in maintaining your huge work rate (you and the rest of Converge were magnificent in Phoenix) and soldiering on in this dark period. Please know that your fans are inspired by you. All my best. - Liam Atkinson (a native of Methuen, Massachusetts)
This was my first real introduction to Cave In and what an introduction. We heard rumours at Roadburn that there might be a show going on and then it was confirmed on facebook. The show started at mid day, on the top floor of an old church, with the sun streaming through stained glass windows. The love in that room was so dense you could almost reach out and touch it. What a wonderful tribiute to a wonderful person. RIP Caleb
That image of Steve and Adam at the end with their arms aloft, standing before a grateful audience is something I won't soon forget. This has been my favorite band since I was 20 years old. I'm 40 now and I'd still call out of work sick if they released another record. Music--the right kind--changes you, influences you. It's a friend when the others fail you, and they will. God bless you men. Fuck I miss Caleb, man. Perhaps the Lord had to give Entwistle a break from the house band for a couple weeks? Bad joke. It's hard to watch Steve wear a face of utter confusion and shock. He nearly lost his shit there at the end. The strength it takes to do something like that could power interstellar travel. Goodbye, bro. If I ever need to dance with your soul, I'll just listen to that beautiful bass-line in "Heartbreaks, Earthquakes." Gets me every time.
There was a moment after that final speech by Steve to the crowd and that long applause where he very nearly went. The camera didnt catch it. Ive been a Cave In fan around the same amount of time man. Never met Caleb once but have never been so affected by someones death who I didn't know. I'll treasure this set for the rest of my life. It was everything thats beautiful about underground music. The shared loss but the shoulders to cry on. Thats what it should be. Damn.
Jason Sams man, your words are beautiful. This sentence is pure gold: "Music--the right kind--changes you, influences you. It's a friend when the others fail you, and they will."
Im still deeply moved by this set 2 months later. Profoundly heart breaking yet life affirming in how the people in that room came together in a space (an old church no less) where everyone listened, sang and cried together. Ive never felt anything close to what was in the room that day at a show. Thank you Cave In. Thank you Roadburn. Thank you and R.I.P Caleb X
Man, just found out about Caleb. Cave In has been one of the most important and influential bands to me, and this was a beautiful tribute by Stephen and Adam. RIP Caleb. 😢
This was both heartwarming as well as deeply upsetting. Felt privileged to be there and pay tribute with the band and so many others, who were clearly moved by this.
How is this SO GOOD? Cave In really just destroys me in the best possible way. Been a fan for 20 damn years now. Insane to think about. Amazing tribute to Caleb here. Still think about him anytime I flip on a Cave In record.
Thank you! This is so heartbreaking to watch.. such incredibly heartfelt music captured in time. Every song is beautifully performed. Stephen Brodsky's vocals are absolutely stunning and both him and Adam are working their music magic to an impressively high level! This is the shit that touches you. There couldn't have been a more real way to do this and honor a beloved friend. R.I.P. Caleb Scofield.
RIP Caleb.. and God Bless you and your Family!!! Your music has been with me my whole life.. through deployments.. drugs abuse.. addiction.. rape.. torture..etc.etc.. Your voice/music gave me the constant drive I needed to get through it all!! Thanks for that bro! -GOD BLESS YOU Jason

This is one of the most memorable and special pieces of recorded music I've watched and listened to. Thanks for performing, thanks for creating and recording it, and thanks for making it available to enjoy and re-visit.
One of the most beautiful/painful things I've ever seen

You all are carrying a big torch, and I'm sure Caleb is proud of you.
Mr. Koller, you are truly an amazing human, and I'm sorry this happened to you guys
Brodsky is perhaps one of the best live vocalists there is

When he screams Caleb's part in Big Riff you can't help but tear up, so beautiful. RIP Caleb.
I was under the impression that is Steve on the recording?
Holy F. Not gonna lie this middle aged metalhead cried hard (more than once) while watching. :( RIP Caleb.
God they played Youth Overrided? I probably woulda cried live between them playing an Antenna song and playing this at show in tribute to Caleb.

I cry almost every time I watch this. Will I this time? About to find out
Finally saw Cave In 2 weeks ago!!!
@@CureEclipse11 I second that statement and I'm living testament to it. Peace.
Get jammed up, watch Brodsky get jammed up, get jammed up even more. RIP Caleb.
I'm legitimately tearing up watching this.
Adams tones and effects add a whole world of emotion to this, same with Stephens voice.
To this day that girls face at the end kills me. Thats how we all felt that day.
At 31:20 my heart broke when Adam turned around. Caleb, these boys hit it out of the park for you and I can't wait to get the Last Transmission.
Rest in Peace Caleb.
You still living on every note, on every song.
God save Cave In!
Since 2003, when I listened for first time Big Riff, it has been my life's big riff. Thank you for all, Cave In.
That version of 'Sing My Loves' was a perfect ending. See you in the stars Caleb.
I was in Buffalo last weekend and saw Cave-In, probably the highlight of the fest!
Wow... Haven't listened to these guys in years... Had no idea Caleb had died. Antenna was an underrated gem.
Jupiter was also always an amazing and bizarre album to me. I go back to it every so often and just get blown away.

This is my favourite Cave In show, and the hardest one to watch. Kudos to Steven and Adam, really (and thanks to Roadburn)! RIP Caleb.
This is beautiful please put this out as an album. I will buy it
Sean Kebely Good news since this comment was made: I believe they’re putting out a CD in December with all proceeds going to Caleb’s family.
