You have a touch most guitarists would kill for, dig it. Jimi is the absolute fountainhead, be it lead, rhythm, chords or the combination of all three, he is the master. Nobody has the imagination combined with the complete mastery of the instrument Jimi has/had. He was so fearless too!. Boy do we miss him, fly on Brother!. Peace.
Big thanks man! Always appreciate the work you put out and the chops you share. You can spend years playing one or two notes wrong and when you finally get it right it's a great feeling.
Thanks for another great video, man. Your videos have contributed so much to my finding and understanding the building blocks of a language I can use to express myself.
This pure gold. BOG Jimi is probably my favorite but i go through phases. The fuzz face in my humble opinion is the greatest effect ever invented. Its really the only pedal you need for gain. Even with humbuckers and especially with p90s. I'm a germanium kick lately.
i always loved jimmy's tone in what 65 i think? the live stuff in 64 or 65 live album. forgot who it was,my dad had the album.curtis knight, just found it,killer tone.
You are fire Nik keep up the awesome work mate im a bassplayer in Sydney Australia been playing for 20 plus years, breaking out into more guitar work i learn so much from you with this blues stuff the Hendrix era was outstanding..... mate if you could maybe just slow down and break down the phrases a tad more so we can pick the phrases clean and explain the note choices love your work...... Hey Nick I made some vids with my Texan Twang and AC30 and was curious if you'd check them out if you have time. I just wanted to get your take on Hendrix sounds through a Vox because I figure you've never been all that big on that British sound for whatever reason.
