A few nice art supplies: -Schmincke Watercolor(the granulation sets are so cool) -pentel brush pen with water resistent ink+ refills -Travel brushes -a pouch for all the supplies -a gift card ( art store) -buy more of the supplies they always use -nice quality paper -a folder for the artwork they make -some cute stamps and stickers -a kneadable eraser -Screenprotector for drawing pad -giftcard for online classes -invite them to an art class
Loved that you started with a little tool box! Those are so useful for so many types of supplies. Artists still show up at our stores with larger toolboxes like the old, red steel ones to fill up with jumbo tubes of paint! These were all great suggestions, thanks for posting!
The Heikkala art book is incredible ! The publisher did similar art books with Sybilline and Iraville and at least another illustrator whose name I forgot and they're all fantastic !
My fav gift I've ever gotten was from my aunt and uncle and they got me a tote filled with discount (but bougie) art supplies from a fancy art store! This was like 10 years ago and I'm still using some of the brushes and paper, and the tiny gouache set started my paint journey years later
Some gifts that I would love: -holbein acryla gouache set -w&n william or henry ink set -handbook & co sketchbook (or really just mid sized sketchbooks in general since I use a different every time)
ohhh only 6 mins in but already having sooo much fun!!! THE BOXES!!! they're sooo amazing, i got soooo many, and here at a local store they even had very tiny ones! smaller than a regular envelope! and just looked up the apple pencil grip!! thank u already!!! 💖
Top recommendation for artists who overwork themselves: massage voucher :'') Time to pamper those permanently tensed shoulders. What is better than the gift of self-care 😌
Obsessed with the hay crates!! My aunt got me a few as stocking stuffers last Christmas and they were little ones that can hold pencils or any small supplies. Been dying to get more but didn't know what they were called!! Would be great to have some of the bigger ones for craft fairs too so you can bring your stuff to the table and then fold the crates up to hide under the table
This was such a good video! I enjoyed it not only as an inspiration to buy things for my friends BUT ALSO I sent the vid to my husband and told him anything spoken about here is a gift I would love!
Thank you, I will be sending this out next Christmas. As much as I appreciate it I might break if I get another art kit. I have 3 sitting on my floor from Christmas this year.
This is such a great list of suggestions!! I’ve received soooo many “art” gifts that have really missed the mark - mostly like really ugly kids art kits

Great video! I love that Heikala art book, I've been following her for so long, that book is on my wish list 😍 I love buying art zines, stickers + prints from independent artists as gifts (for myself too haha!). Thanks for sharing these tips, love from India :)
this is such a fantastic list! i can vouche for basically everything on this list as a fellow artist, but I really want to try that arq bra and the pencil grips! I have almost everything else you mentioned and loooove them
Hi Megan! Have you tried ARQ's high rise underwear? The best! It's one of those things where you go big and you never go back. LOL. It's very high rise, full bum coverage, so comfortable.
@@MeganWangart they are visiting Los Angeles this weekend holding a "seconds" sale (imperfections items)! Sat 2/4: 10-4 PM and Sun 2/5: 10-1 PM @ OZMA Studio. You might have seen their email. I'm in Redondo Beach so I dont want to drive all the way there. But maybe its closer to you!
