Volvo should keep this car in production, as a hybrid, slowly improving it over time, better display (larger), bigger battery, etc. Much more interesting than EX90.
I’m on my second XC90 of this generation and still love the design. I regret that they removed the exhaust tips, because they contributed so much to the road presence when seen from behind (my favorite angle). Also a pity they removed the beautiful drive mode dial from the central console.
I'd much prefer the XC90 to the EX90. My question is would you pick this at 80K over the fully loaded GV80 at 78K? While I like the power and performance of the XC as well as the practicality and simplicity in design and execution, the interior of the GV definitely feels like a more special place to sit in, even if the engine is down about 70hp.
Even more so the interior, the EX90 interior is really bad! Still better then many others, but by volvo's standard it is bad! There is no flow anymore, that tablet just brakes that flow so bad!
Volvo does no wrong. Smooth, uncomplicated elegant modernism. You can always tell a Volvo even at a distance.

I don't mind the removed exhaust pipes.
Have you had any issues with the infotainment system and software issues with either model?
The XC90 has aged very well.
I´ve never seen the interiors and man you can tell you are in the top notch of the Volvo lineup
I just wish that they will improve on the battery size and add DC charging similar to what Range Rover did on their P400e
one of the most beautiful cars out there
I still prefer the EX90, no grille alone is already huge bonus.

That screen plonked down on the dash looks dated to me on the GV80. Not horrible, just reminds me of cars that were coming out 10 years ago.
What engine do they use in modern volvo's
Same basic 2.0L turbo, but it can be just that 2.0L turbo or you can add an additional electric supercharger on top of it
How is the reliability? Can this car go 250k miles?
Take the 1977 trans am and turn it into the replacement for the Camaro. Like a gmc trans am.

It's he swedish?
