What if you get invited for 491 and you already turn 45 years old before the 3 years under this visa, this means you cannot apply anymore for 191? Is that correct? Or age is not a factor? Does it mean your taxable income is the only basis for transitioning to 191 visa? Personally, I don’t think this visa is good at all. It’s not even a sure pathway to PR. And it would take a lot more before you become an Australian citizen! Maybe you are already 50 years old before becoming an Australian citizen. Lol This visa is only beneficial if you are still young.

Manjot Bhalla offshore processing is very slow at the moment. Also only critical workers are given priority with the visa processing. October federal budget announcement has nothing to do with the visa processing or back log at the moment.

The DHA website just says minimum taxable income and not specified any salary. I personally checked with DHA they said they are yet to decide on this . Also checked with all the states they asked me to confirm it with DHA since 191 nomination is done by DHA. As per tax minimum taxable income isn't it 18kpa??? I understand 54k is set for temporary visa holders. But thats in general &they can live anywhere.
