Great episode! You need to invest in a rocker stopper my friend. I have had boats come within feet of me there under anchor, tight spot but amazing when you are alone and have it to yourself 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Again… Very cool combo of sailing and natural history / biology intel. (Are you a Biologist by trade?).
The red sand verbena is a rare plant - CNDDB, 1b.1 level. I’m protecting a patch at west end Malibu; new bridge at Trancas.
Also very nice job on snow plovers detail (nice close-up video) and habitat intel. Nice find on cereus cactus.!

We've anchored there several times and caught many lobster there. We always try to kedge out a stern anchor. Makes for a nice evening. Lovely anchorage, but no cell coverage. Great SW listening, though.

Awesome video, stumbled upon it because I’m backpacking to little harbor next weekend. Loved all the plant talk, I was hoping I’d get to see some cool endemic plants out there. Good tip with the surfboard shaped dudleya, hope I get to see it myself!

I got engaged right on top of the rock where you were. Awesome spot.

Anchored at that same spot with my friends Jack and his dog Harvey on a Cat 24. Swells breaking on the rocks barrier under the setting sun was a magical experience. We were alone there for the most part. Stern anchor on. Gently rolling on residual waves passing the rocks. Seems at times like a great break to surf! Little harbor is so far my favorite anchorage in Catalina. Little Gibraltar on the other side of the island is nice but doesn’t compare. I really enjoyed this video. I am going to suscribe to your channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am going to watch it again and take notes! I wonder how many boats can this anchorage fit. 3 ? It gets pretty quickly shallow and it seems that staying south of your spot, closer to the cliff makes for bigger unbroken swell. I can’t wait to go back there. What’s the maximum number of boats that you have seen there?

Last time I anchored single hook at Little Harbor, I swung probably 720 degrees between tide and wind shifts. That power boat should have also had a stern hook.

It's definitely a bow and stern anchorage unless you have it to yourself. Even then, I'd prefer to not swing around in that small anchorage.

Hello Jerry! I use a RU-250 roll up I got from West Marine. It's not very big but works great for our needs. www.westmarine.com/west-marine-ru-250-roll-up-inflatable-dinghy-17981143.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwo_KXBhAaEiwA2RZ8hIShPugR_-ab4ick7spNEN6vk8dG1JNtpdgOunRfRiONRVodz9zAsRoCPYYQAvD_BwE
