You guys are tough. i don't care if it is flat, that's a real show of endurance. Hot sun reflected off the pavement. Florida is known to be humid. Then you make it look easy. Lots of cars too. Good nobody got hurt.
I have to say I really enjoy watching your videos. They are so inspiring to me. Keep up the great work you do. It's on my goal list is to ride down in Florida. The scenery is unbelievable to me. I'm planning to do a century in June, so the tips you gave are right on time for me.
That for me was pure Magic the group are fantastic your weather sent by God and the coast line to die for oh i wish because this year out of my 17 rides it rained 11 times i hope you realize your totally spoilt thank you Luis for sharing this magical ride keep safe Sir loved the video.
Great video and commentary as always Luis!!! Sorry I missed you and Lillian on this ride!!! You gave a few tips or suggestions that were very helpful and I’ll start incorporating on my next long distance ride. Thank you and the south Florida crew for joining the group on this trek. I appreciate you Bro!!! 👊🏽
Super points. I really like that you broke it up to two days, the support car and bike check. Camaraderie love that. I'll try again to do a century ride.
I live in San Diego, CA, but for some reasons, it seems like the rides over there are more relaxing because of the flat rides and better views of beaches, over hanging trees on the road, and looks warmer. Maybe one day I move there when my kids finished college.
How do you find the drivers behave on a ride like this? It always looks kind of rough having all of those cars flying by you the entire trip. Great video, thanks for sharing this!
As someone from Toronto Canada, jealous of the fact you guys have a beautiful coastline and amazing weather year round in Florida! Great video would love to see more videos on the riding community out there as well as these long rides.
Interesting video and thanks for sharing. The main thing is to measure and maintain your effort also the combination of cassette/crankset lenght but also stem lenght and seat post adjustment is very important. When I did road bike competition I was always tought that. I however noticed that some people cut their ahead set for steerer too short which main result over the long run in pain aches or injuries. It is worse if you are into cross country or free ride or enduro riding. On a side note, I have been to Florida for a business indeed a great state and great people there too
thank you, this was both helpful and motivating video. great tips and I did enjoy the video and love to come someday and visit Florida, what a beautiful state, you guys are lucky .
Love your content i just purchased my first bike im new but watching your videos motivate and inspire me im not sure if i purchased the right bike (manufacturer) cause u see so much brands but i try to keep it simple cause i know im just in learning stage dont over spend you made me want a hamburger lollll 😂😂 get your rest bro
Great channel and video. What would be cool is if you discussed bib choice, chamois cream, etc. I personally find that the correct good quality bib is central to a good ride. Also, I notice your jerseys have no logos or graphics beyond simple patterns. Tell us about that also…. Just some thoughts. I ride Bucks county PA and we have hills. When I ride the shore it is so flat (34 miles, 300 feet elevation). This makes me like a good climb. How do you manage so much flat terrain????
Mate! That was awesome! Any chance you could share the GPS file? I am particularly interested in your route through Ft Lauderdale. That place does not seem to have a pleasant route through it, esp around the airport, and has thus far stopped me from riding North from Miami. As the school year is coming to a close, my son and I are looking for new challenging routes. He's 16 and just did his first century 2-3 weeks back. What you said about the upper body giving out first is spot on as well. I told my son "you're about to find 15 new hand positions on your bars" during his century. And he did! I'm new to the channel and love everything I have seen so far! Keep it up!
Awesome story telling about your ride with this video. The start of the ride when the sun came up seemed crazy beautiful. Was this considered a randonneuring ride? The long distance and the stops/checkpoints seem to fall in line with the rando style of riding. The difference being the SAG team meeting you at the stops.
Just found your channel and I love it !! … Thank you very much for what you are doing !. I’m just now getting back out on the road after a 15 year break for health issues . Noticed you are wearing full finger gloves . Are they Giro’s and what model are they and how do you like them ?… again many Thanks for the great videos !!!
Hello there. Welcome back to cycling! Yes, they are the Gyro Rivet, I believe. They work great. Very light and airy and don't interfere with what I am doing. Thanks for watching the channel👍🏾
I don't know if it's a matter of film shots, but I am surprised how few riders had front and back lights on. I never ride my bike, no matter the time of the day or the weather, without lights on the back and front. That being said, well done. I personally would not have the endurance to do the same.
I am impressed how you rode 120 miles. It has to be the group and support. As always nice advice. ❤❤By the way how did you Colnago bike handle and ride? It’s a beautiful color and my favorite of your collection.
Luis. I did all three long distance rides last year. You captured the CFC family exactly as they are. There is no way I would still be cycling if it wasn’t for this club and those people. Well done. P.S. whatever RT is supplying it is probably fake. 😂
I'd never heard of "bridge repeats" until I lived in Florida. Came there from Seattle''s amazing hills. My 100 kilo clydesdale frame beat the FL riders up every bump. Poor Floridian riders.
Thank you for the shoutout Luis! Its been a journey but I'm still here, and cycling. Very informative video as always. Happy to see you out there. 😊
I was so glad to see you... briefly. Looking forward to that ride with you.👍🏾
This right here makes me want to live in Florida. Great video!!!
Thank you Curtis 👍🏾
Great tips, i feel i am finally ready to take on this goal come January!
Great ride Louis , great music & the weather looked fab , wish we had that sunshine in UK 🇬🇧 , keep up the good work sir 👍🏽
Thank you Richard👍🏾

For sure. I’m on Hutchinson Island and I’d like to know what route they took because the traffic / driving here is crazy!
Beautiful ride with great people, thanks for the invite. :) I think I'm going to do the whole ride next year!
Absolutely Chris. It was nice having link up brother👍🏾
But Luis...you told me in one of your older videos that long rides like these are unnecessary!
Now you know better than to listen to me🙄
😂
What a brilliant vid and editing Louis showed so well all the elements to the ride and the social side to.. top quality bro 😊 🚴🏻👍 Pete
Thank you Pete👍🏾
We ride every weekend on Hutchinson Island A1A, and it is lovely! So good to "see you" in this neck of the woods :). Great videos - I am loving them!
Thanks for watching. It was a nice part of the route... really enjoyed it👍🏾
Always fresh . . . Tip number 4 . . . So right !!!
Thanks for watching 👍🏾

That's awesome Charles. June is around the corner. Keep riding in good health 👍🏾
Glad you went and saw palm beach island , nice seeing my neighborhood and surroundings here :)
That's cool. Really lovely up that way!

Thank you David👍🏾
Awesome video. I plan to ride the coast in the future 🌴
You should! You will definitely enjoy it 👍🏾
Congrats! Great accomplishment! I have learned over many century rides that the mind is stronger than the body.
It is indeed! Thanks for watching 👍🏾

Thank you Brother. It is always a genuine pleasure to ride with you guys... and yes, you were missed. See you on the next one👍🏾
Thanks for sharing!
What a beautiful ride. Congrats 🫶
Thanks Michael! Can't wait to see your Majorca footage👍🏾
Super points. I really like that you broke it up to two days, the support car and bike check. Camaraderie love that. I'll try again to do a century ride.
Thank you! You can do this 💪🏾
Looks like some Florida rides are definitely in my future!

The grass is not necessarily greener on the other side of the country 😅 Definitely check it out before committing to a move.

Remarkably fresh. Love it
Thank you my friend 🙏🏾
Love it! What an adventure! Was looking for South Florida landmarks, where I ride! Great video Luis!!!
Thanks for watching Tom👍🏾
Your videos are actually informative and not just filming your rides , your channel is underrated Luis 👍
Thank you, Sterling! That is the aim👍🏾
Another Awesome video Luis. Thanks for taking us along and some very useful tips too. I’ve never done a century but looking forward to it one day. 👊🏾
One of your cycling fans from Colorado wishes to pass on a hearty congratulations to you all!

Well done Luis. I really enjoyed that and seeing lots of Florida.
Great content! Look forward to joining the ride it’s been a couple of years since I stopped and just got back into it.

Seem like there is a huge cycling culture in Florida
Yes Neil! It is huge
Not you starting the vid like Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Haaa
Shine !!
This looks awesome. I’ll have to catch the next one. I’m SWFL too. 👍
Thanks Robby. They are a great group to ride with👍🏾

I love the bike next to the bed. Did it many times even with the fam LOL
It's the only way to go/stay👍🏾

Thanks it was a great experience 👍🏾
@@thegoodwheel, I appreciate your enthusiasm and fondness for 'old school' rim brakes. (Disc brake holdout here)
making me miss FL riding

As always. Thank you for your kind words. The V3rs is an amazing bike. It performed splendidly 👍🏾
So how did you get back home 🤔…looks like a fun adventure 👍🏿
I hitched a ride with Wifey👍🏾
As usual great coverage of the ride. What is the brand of the kit you're wearing?
Hi Darius. Brand is MYN. There is a link and discount on the description. Thanks for watching 👍🏾
@@thegoodwheel Thank you. I appreciate the effort you put into your content. Keep up the good work!

Thank you Boyd. They are an amazing group of people. Thanks for the tip on RT😂
What model is your Colnago?
It's a V3rs
Man I miss riding.
👍🏾
How many hours of ride time was it?
It was somewhere between 6 or 7 hours... probably closer to 7. I can't remember exactly.
Thanks for watching 👍🏾

Hey Luis when is the next coastal ride would love ❤ to join you guys
