    I am loving your videos, the amount of explanation you give is wonderful and really helps me conceptualize as I build, kudos :)

    Interesting review. Maybe you should think about reviewing the noise measurement protocol, as (according my knowledge) the microphone of the telephone sits on its front. Showing the front for the measurement reading will mean that the microphone mostly measures the surround noise, not the direct noise level.
    Comparison with other noise tests will be challenging, as norms generally ask for a distance of around 1 meter for noise measurement.

    hi! thank you for video and so good review. I ve ordered one.
    one question, you told about firmware from Alex, could you share the link for X2?

    I am curious about this. How did you go about receiving a printer from them to review? This is something I’d absolutely love to do as well

      It's easy.
      Start a 3D printing RUclips channel. Get a following and then reach out to the company or they'll reach out to you.
      Good grief, are you new to RUclips?

    I bought the original Aquila back when it had just come out and cost over $300. It supposedly has the "better" motherboard, all TMC2208 drivers, and extremely high print quality. Would it be worth upgrading to this new X2 and selling my current printer? Or should I just stick with this one.

      Stick with yours. This has a few minor changes to it. The biggest being the vertical screen and the filament sensor. Yours likely has the G32 chip which can flash aftermarket firmware easily. The new H32 chips in some new Aquilas and X2's.

    Are you sure the Alex firmware works in X2, its only for the original Aquila according to my research.

      Yes. I have both original and X2 and both run alex firmware. So far alex fw will not run on H32 chips or the Aquila C2. Checkout r/VoxelabAquila all kinds of X2 posts running alex fw

    So owning both printers, which would you suggest? Is the x2 worth the extra, or is the original a better deal?

    • @alexander_kartsev
      @alexander_kartsev 3 года назад +1

      I also own both. X2 is a replacement of the original Aquila, so if you have a possibility to get original - get it. It is much cheaper and X2 gives NOTHING that you cant get spending $5

    • @n9jcvyellow
      @n9jcvyellow  3 года назад +2

      If you are simply looking for the cheapest and best deal, sometimes you can find the original Aquila for about $150 on Amazon, and you can always add a filament sensor and print your own handle.
      If you would prefer already have the filament sensor installed and working the X2 at 199 is still a way better value than the Ender 3 V2.

      I believe the X2 has better fans and things too
