Unfortunate as it is, this is a great way of keeping the ethos of the channel, talking about printers and print settings etc as well as shooting regular guns, it's still PSR, still entertaining and informative, and keeps Susan and the overlords looking in other directions.

I work at a nursing home. In my city there was a reported shooting nearby in a residential neighborhood near the facility I was working at. The suspect had gone into 2 different peoples home committing a total of 4 seemingly unconnected murders. The police were hot on his trail, tracing the microstamped serial numbers on the ejected casings leading them to a firearms manufacturer in a different country, but he was on his way to my nursing home. Luckily my employer was proactive and hung a "no weapons concealed or visible allowed on the premises" sign on all entries. It was clear and visible to any reasonable person. The shooter saw the sign and promptly laid his firearm down and turned himself in. I couldn't have been luckier and I'm so thankful for that sign carrying the force of law needed to save my life and the lives of the residents I care for.

Thanks for the review. Great printer for South Africans, with all the rolling blackouts that happen 4 times a day, they can always get the print done when the power is back for a few hours, and again after that, unless it has a limited amount of times it will save the project because they go out every 4 hours for 2 hours sometimes 4 hours, and worse in some areas....but that is a story for another day lol.

The z off setting and the fish scaling can be from the gantry not tight but also the direct drive heads are heavier so slowing down the print could help especially if youre using the ender 3 V2 settings that take the lighter weight into account.

One thing to note on the S2 is it uses proprietary nozzles that you can only buy from them. It won't take standard nozzles. The hotend is also proprietary, although it's possible to print adapters for standard hotends. 3DPrintSOS has good videos explaining. The commonly suggested replacement hotend (Haldis red lizard Q1) is currently out of stock, though.

Spend more, get the higher temp Creality spider or Slice Engineering hotend upgrade, get a glass bed and use masking tape to ensure flat surfaces without bindings.
Higher temp hot end will get you printing stiffer CF filaments. Solid copper hot ends will let you maintain temps better, dual metal heat break will prevent high temps from going to the rest of the hot end.

You should try casting parts with ceramic resin based on prints. You could make molds of the parts you printed then use the liquid ceramic which when subjected to heat turns into, well...ceramics. I haven't tried it yet because I really just thought to go looking for it the other day. There's several short demonstrations here on YT of the ceramic resins.
Ceramics seem useful but I'm not completely sure how yet. I don't know if I could do something like print a form to make a mold for a custom slug I could then cast out of ceramic or other resins. I don't have the equipment nor space to reasonably attempt it but it is definitely now on the list of things to try when that happens. It's a stupidly huge list but you can't just throw away ideas.

How about a 3d printed water filtration system that can be filled with charcoal and other medium soils. Yet designed to be robust and easy to maintain. Then a breadbox with ... features like motion detectors. Who knows how far you could go towards informing everyone, that some toiletry products can also go boooom. '-)
