Yeah, I agree with other people who are not Indians or who hasn't attended any Indian wedding can find this a little tedious and complex, but It's the part of our culture and it brings us joy there is also an "Engagement ceremony / Ring ceremony" so basically on the Ring ceremony day the bride and the groom exchange rings hence it's called a ring ceremony during the ceremony we also have a ritual where a ring is hidden deep inside a thaal or a bowl filled with milk, water, Kangnas, flowers, vermilion, and other objects which are placed in front of the bride and groom. This thaal is placed by the sister in law of the bride and the couple is asked to find the ring from the thaal it also has a sweet significance behind this funny ritual. According to our elders, it is believed whoever finds the rings first will have the upper hand in the marriage for life. Btw I love your content ❤ from India

i've been doing wedding photography for 6 years now...and every now and then even i start tearing up behind the camera at certain moments....emotions run so high sometimes that it's really hard not to. Even though you just meet the family one or two days ago, some families are just so full of relatable emotions that you feel you've known them for years and years. And then you just can't stop yourself from enjoying in their celebrations and also shed a few tears of joy with them. I love my profession!

The most important thing or ritual in a Hindu weeding is 7 Saptapadi/phere/7 steps or promises (sort of Vows) where The bride and the groom hold their hands and take seven rounds around the Agni (Fire🔥) and promise to be with each other in good and bad times for eternity and only after that they are called as married.
By the way you will see there ritual in almost Every dharmic religion/cultural like Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism etc as there religions are all child from the same mother and civilization.
    Love ❤ from INDIA🇮🇳

In Hindu marriage, every ritual has a deep meaning. A traditional wedding takes 3-5 days.

In hindu traditions, marriage is just not a merging a two souls, but a holy coalition by Eshwar. You'll be amazed to know that there is no sanskrit word for divorce. There were no provision of divorce until britishers came. Even today, in villages no divorce happen. If there is some misunderstanding, family members and relatives intervene and sort out the problem.
