Yes, I did King James- well spotted! It has to be withdrawn for a while as the people of Britain are eating too many onions in bed. It may be back at a later date..
Graham Mck the class 60 is more powerfull than a 66 always have been why do you think they a employed on the heavy haul trains my mate works on them at Toton and he has said the same that's why more are going to be overhauled for more freight operators.
@@grah84mck This winter I kept training it out to line out of Liverpool docks, caught a 66 taking the biomass up in the wet with another 66 banking it. A month later finally caught a 60 hauling up in same conditions, Did it have a banker at the end. I heard the EMD 2 stroke sound nearing and my heart sank a bit, hang on it's idling. Then the 66 went by with the cab light on and drivers feet on dashboard doing nowt. I guess all involved are like let the 60 drag the whole rake up there and the 66 too then detach and away the rest goes to Drax. 60 is my fave uk loco, I'm no 66 hater either they all have their pros and cons.
Fantastic power shot mate! Those shed maniacs don't know what they're talking about - keep the Tugs on the tracks, I say!! Thanks. Ken
Lived next to this incline for many years.
Superb filming, what a sight that is, thanks for posting.
As an ex railwayman a driver once told me that the 60 was a good loco but they had had their balls pulled out of them!
I want to jump up and down ❤and shout „Come on! You can do it,“
Love how everyone calls 60's tugs now. we used to call them polititions cos you can see through them! lol
British built locos class 60 better than any 66
700t is not much, even on a gradient like that, surely?

66s can do that easily lol
A 66 would easily do this class 60s can hardly pull the skin off a rice pudding
