As a resident of the lower mainland, and employed in the North Van area, can confirm Lewis rides here more than I do, I’m stuck at work to pay for the cost of living here.
As soon as you were talking about North Shore skinnies and started on Crinkum Crankum. I knew you were headed for Imonator lol. Fair play cleaning it on a modern DH bike. Those are built for old school short 26" bikes!
I grew up riding those trails. Back when if you saw a rider with disc brakes you were blown away thinking they were from the future. It has been a while since I've ridden the shore, but I think I'd hold up better on the woodwork over trying the fast jump trails. I remember the last time I rode the shore (after a LONG break) sitting there looking at a jump take-off and not understanding where the landing was. Is this supposed to be a jump to flat? Then a rider hits the jump and sticks the landing so far down the trail that my old mind did not even process could jumped.
did you see SC brought back the old Teal frame with the pink decals for the Nomad??? she is sexy AF, they're making me wait till End of November for delivery :( lol the long wait
@@LewisBuchananOther options for Fromme skinny stuff: Pipeline has this new work going on www.youtube.com/@dnvtrailbuilders Upper Oil Can is pretty classic with lots of line options, Boundary has some really cool stuff (although not super skinny), Ladies Only is a classic and Lower Ladies has the original roller coaster on it. Lower Crippler has a bunch of new woodwork on it as well, amazing building. Crinkam Crankum - latin for lots of twists and turns (pretty sure the Scots used it too) I don't know what Al is talking about, there is no trail on the North Shore (Fromme, Seymour or Cypress) with that name.
Those damm Canadians... & their crazy trail building, great footage once again Sir.
Thanks
This confirms why I want to move to Vancouver.😮
Haha sick
Same

Best of luck affording it
Nicely done…now you have to try Lower Crippler and Upper Oilcan….next level!

My old 2001 Norco 250 26/24 mullet ate these trails up man. I'm not sure my 63 degree head angle squish pig would make it.
Sketchy sketch sketch.
Props to the trail builders 😍
Yup big props

The work involved for those features must've been insane.
Yup
About halfway in...and it looks like a compliant aluminum enduro bike looks like it would have been awesome on these trails!
I guess so
@@LewisBuchanan you ended up killin' it like usual! SUCH sick riding, Lew!
Skills Nice Riding.

DH bikes up to Crinkum Crankum? You guys walk those up? (perfect bikes for shuttling Cypress)
Yeah we hiked up but where looking for a feature but couldn’t find it
@@LewisBuchanan Ha! ...ya, the features up in there can be tough to find! Can't believe you guys hit Imonator on DH bikes. Props.
Great riding, what’s the creacking, it seems to get worse every vid?
No idea haha
0:07 good loamer btw
Consistency is the 🔑
Yup
How much was your bike?
New to your channel, is the OF shirt some kind of inside joke?
No im sponsored by OF. They are supporting loads of athlete across different sports
I wonder how they bent those logs. Those are not small trees. I have always been interested in these trails and the build technique since the 2000’s.
I mean unless they are already like that haha
It’s a combo of several bent logs that have been joined carefully.
Quite the feature.
this was fun you been on some scary ass shit lately
Thanks
Godamnit you need to come to Windrock bike park in Tennessee!!!!
I’d love too
@@LewisBuchanan reach out to ur OF teammate Shell, the Canadian chick that rides there all the time.
