I see that youve quit Maybach. I have a quick question with the rental program. will I be able to write off all the expenses such as food, cloths, etc and of course the rental and fuel expense just as someone can with a normal lease purchase?
No I am no longer with Maybach I am working under one of my friends authorities I did not leave Maybach because it is a bad company but because I wanted more control of booking my own Freight and staying closer to home
Good Video.. NYG 2022! lol Question.. I have my own truck and plan to go on as an Owner Operator.. Do I have to go to orientation and have a road test as well??
If you’re going as company drivers they will fly you up there. You’re going as an owner operator you’ll have to get your own way up there they can provide a flight doctor from the first check. Thanks for watching any other questions let me know
@@darkkellsmith8379 I just talked to them and Amy told me they only have rental trucks available and not any lease purchase. Is the rent bad or does it differ drastically from leasing? She also told me they have two terminals one in Chicago and Miami. Can I go to Miami to do orientation or do I have to go to Chicago?
That’s a great question I’m going to have to say yes Because I switched from the 12% to the 22% but that was years ago I recommend you call Maybach and ask him directly but I believe so
@@darkkellsmith8379 sorry to keep bugging you. Maybach called me this morning and said I needed a LLC or be a company driver. Is that right? Only asking you because I couldn’t understand her accent.
@@TxJason no problem man, yeah to be an owner operator you must create an LLC. MAYBACH will create it for you, or you can do it yourself.I think it’s like $150. 👍
One last question. They just asked for a copy of my CDL and my medical card. If hired will they put me through a training or orientation before putting me in a truck? Is so what kind of timeframe should I expect? I tried asking the over the phone but I couldn’t understand what she was saying. Thanks again
Call them and tell them that Kelvin Tavarez Truck 415 referred you they can rent you a truck $700 a week. As far as money it all depends on the driver man I go home every weekend and I’m gonna be honest I gross anywhere from $5000 to $5500 a week Gross. Good info but now they say lease to rent have to use their fuel cards now
Wow I know owner operators that are buying leasing to own or own the trucks can use their own fuel cards.
I switching from company to renting are you still making decent money with the economy messed up right now?

Don’t ever work for a trucking company located in Chicago!
MAYBACH is located in Illinois
@PsalmMiracle which is where chicago is.
Renting a truck with them is bad you will loose all the time they force dispatch no matter what stay far away
