Just lets you how great CREAM was...how great Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker were. Old Slowhand was on fire without playing so damn fast.
Even playing the song 3 times too fast and Gary Moore viciously over-playing Jack still manages to sing and play like a jinn.
There is no substitute for a jazz background.

Jack Bruce was just incomparable. Trained at the Royal Academy of Music in Scotland. And had a great voice, especially during the days of Cream

His voice never changed much to these ears, witness this recording 30 years on.

Jack went off on a Jazz free for all during the middle.

So damn HEAVY! Makes the version from “Wheels Of Fire” sound weak by comparison.

Lol Gary's husband! No, there's, 2 Gary's. Both without husbands apart from Gary Husbands last name.

Gary Husband. That's his name. Fine drummer (and keyboard player!). He was on Jack Bruce's 50th Birthday concert too, although he didn't play with Gary Moore at that night. He was, however, later part of Gary Moore's band for the Dark Days in Paradise album and tour.

Don't believe that is Ginger on drums.
