We are heading to the Conrad Bora Bora Nui in a month. Thank you for the tips about water refill station and also the grocery store! I heard that they have sunscreen at the resort as well, I will probably bring my own, but good to know about in case I run out.
Great tips. Just wondering how you get to the main island from your hotel. Is there a water taxi that visits resorts? If so how much? Are the prices at the supermarket for soda and water reasonable? Thanks
We stayed at the Conrad and they had a few daily water shuttles that go back and forth from the resort to main island. They’re free but you just need to sign up the day before since it’s limited seating. It’s similar at the other resorts. Prices at supermarket are definitely reasonable compared to the resort pricing. Think Whole Foods prices at the main island supermarket.
Thanks for sharing these tips! Does Chin Lee accept credit cards? We are trying to figure out if it’s necessary to get cash in local currency. Also, for the prepackaged food in Chin Lee, is it necessary to heat them up? Thanks!
Chin Lee accepts credit cards but just not Amex, visa/Mastercard only. The only time we needed cash in local currency was for the taxi. The prepackaged foods are all warm! If you’re eating it the same day no need to heat it up, but it may go bad if you leave it out overnight.
Good to know about the floats being blown up by Conrad. Also the pearl info helped. And free gym water. Two questions, did Venus point have alot of reef? I'm going as Diamond member next month, with points at Conrad. Did you have to wait to check in to see if you got upgraded? And how was availability when you got upgraded, some days I'm staying at Conrad are sold out.
We didn’t snorkel at Venus Point, I don’t recall there being reefs but there may be along a different stretch of the beach. We got upgraded at check in but we inquired about upgrading by emailing the concierge beforehand. They told us about paid upgrade options. It really depends on how busy the resort is for diamond upgrades. I’d recommend paying for one night upgrade to OWB and hoping they upgrade your entire stay.
Thanks for your helpful, clear tips. I especially liked your water and floatie tips.
Thanks! Hope you guys have a great trip.

Hope you had a great time! Yes there was sunscreen at the main pool area for general use.
Thank you both! Great information. We're staying at the Hilton in Papeete next month!
It was a great hotel! Best part is that it’s attached to a large grocery store. Views were amazing.
Solid advice. Thanks for the info!
Thanks, we're flying there in a month
Quite jealous, have fun. We can't wait to go back!
Such good deals! Thanks GoodDealTraveler!
You're welcome, fellow RUclipsr

How was the weather in March? We will be there celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary the end of March 2023! So excited!
