The statement about the Knights leg being cut off despite being encased in Armour gives one the impact these weapons had on the battle field! Quite deadly! And the poor chap with the wound to his skull! These weapons also drove the weapons race and armor. By the time of Henry Vlll warriors were completely encased, but gunpowder was showing up more prominent by then. Well done as always!
Hello! I love your video. I am a fan of Celtic culture from China. Since few people in China know much about Celtic culture, I hope to repost your video to bilibili, a Chinese social media software, so that more people can know about it and translate it. I will mark the original author and the source of the video. If it is not convenient to reprint, I will not disturb you again. Have a nice day!
The ability of the late Medieval Irish to wield axes was undoubtedly as fantastically skillful, fast & deadly as that of a professional Japanese Samurai fighting with their Katana swords. My money would be on the Irish axman to prevail over a quintessential Samurai, due mainly to better strength & ferocity & equal dexterity. Uber Badass ☘️☘️☘️
