Not to mention, the ones actually provided were these inept, badly trained, unqualified, and unable to navigate sloped roofs as his security. So Trump didn't really get anything close to the A team of protection much less more. From the results it seems he might have been better off using the best of local law enforcement instead of what he got stuck with. Evidently, Dr. Jill needed the elite since she is actually running the government.
Yes, but only a small percentage, which is the the percentage that can fulfill the standards like how men can No more DEI Equal opportunity for all, not equal outcome
I've never met a woman in my life who is anywhere close to my level of strength. Maybe the top 0.1% of elite female powerlifters are, but they're not going for these jobs. These are just not jobs that women can perform in.
I stand 6'1" and am cool as a cucumber under pressure, so I could do it. But not every woman is as tall as I am and has that grace under pressure. Those DEI hires embarrassed and angered me.
Exactly. I can think of women who would be great in this role. I could also see less tall but very athletic women protecting smaller targets like children or women who are smaller than them, as part of a team of people protecting those targets. I could have seen women doing great as snipers in this scenario. The fact of the matter is, both the men and women on this “team” were incompetent that day in Butler, and they seemed deliberately picked for not being good at individual assessment, and taking bad orders from the top.
No means to disrespect you, I’m sure you can hold your own, but in what level of pressure keeps you cool until it doesn’t? I can say the same as you, but until the shots ring out and the guns are pointed at you, it takes an experienced drive to be cool under that kind of pressure.
There are some incredible, skilled and strong women out there. However, if your job is to literally be a human shield, you can't be shorter than your target.
The SS lady with the ponytail is the only one that seemed to know what the heck was going on. She had her sidearm pulled, looked around for potential threats as they loaded President Trump in the SUV, and then holstered her firearm, and expediently moved on to the next task.
I don't think them being women per se has anything to do with their inadequacy. What I see is several agents who are physically too short, too small, too slow. Any agent with those characteristics is unfit to do that specific job.
It's not that Woman can't protect the president....its that the standards for the secret service are embarrassingly low. The standard needs to be raised and there needs to be one standard....not mens and women's standard.
Watching all the interviews and congressional hearings with the Secret Service personnel, it has become a parent that not all of those agents were Secret Service field agents. They’ve said numerous times in numerous places that when they don’t have enough personnel, they backfill with agents from Homeland security, I would be willing to bet that these women were backfill and not, full-fledged agents. If they were full-fledged agents, they should be removed from duty because they are unfit. To be on a protected detail, your reaction needs to be instant and decisive, they were bobbing around like they had no idea what to do next sunglasses on sunglasses off can’t host their weapon, ponytails around they looked ridiculous. Embarrassment to this country and Secret Service.
Only if they all have the same height, weight, muscular strength, training, and experience. In other words, a man. Which obviously was not the case here.
Body detail should require the agents be physically larger and stronger than the asset. Cover the asset, be ready to move the asset under your own strength.
It wasn't just the girls that messed up - she had her holster too far back. However the guys messed up as well especially the SSA snipers. You're telling me the crowd reacted to it before they did. Also it was so close.
There is a time and a place for strong assed dudes, REAL men, real warriors. I am not a big man. When I entered the Army, I was 5'7", 200 pounds. I have ALWAYS lifted weights. Why? I am starting at a disadvantage in size, so strength is a helpful asset. I spent 28yrs in the infantry. I had to ALWAYS work at fitness. Why? I did not want to be a weak link, and as I stayed in the Army, I kept rising to higher leadership positions. Leaders lead from the front, not the back. Soldiers WANT the old man to bring the goods, physically AND mentally, and in SKILLS. Be, Know, Do. For Secret Service, the agents need to be able to match the height of the asset. I cannot do that. Those women could not do that. Lastly, if you watch the videos of those women...they did not know what they were doing. The one who could not holster her weapon? PATHETIC. Could she move Trump by herself? NO! Could she take on a 250 pound angry dude from a crowd and physically, not with a gun, put him down? NO!
Height is overrated....physical strength, the will to win at all costs, bravery, loyalty, cardio, stamina, endurance WINS every single time. There will never be a woman who can match or best a man in most of these categories. BTW....most Spec Ops are not tall guys and are generally 6' or less. The big football player types are slow, clumsy and run out of gas too quickly.
@@MichaelSisley-fw3xr Trump is abnormally tall at around 6' 3" but someone say 5' 9" or above could cover him. He's not standing on his tip toes all the time and at his age "late 70s" he's likely shrunk a bit as well. I did a SWAG touching my thumb to the bottom of my ear with my fingers on the top of my head. What do you come up with.....about 5" or 6" right? That's if Trump is standing proud perfectly straight and assuming he hasn't shrank the normal inch or two as most people of his age have.
I've been to some of the top training institutes. Starting with Jeff Cooper at American Pistol Institute (Gunsite). I have never been chastised for holstering my pistol too slow. I have been called out for holstering it too fast. When that female agent couldn't get it holstered the first time, she brought her pistol back to a retention position. Tactically what she did was better than some other ways. At least she didn't shoot herself or someone else. That has happened to some otherwise well trained people while trying to holster their pistols. Remember, complacency remains one of the primary causes of accidents.
I am a woman who does a lot of merit-oriented male-dominated things, among them shooting, competitive gaming, martial arts, and engineering. Whenever I go to a new space, there's always a skepticism as to whether I'm "for real". But that's fair, because there is a population of women who want the status but don't have passion or talent or willingness to suffer. The perception never bothers me, both because I recognize there's a fairness to it, and because when we hit the mat, it gets sorted real quick. Everyone should have to prove themselves there anyway, and it is only a pleasure and a fuel to do so. In any endeavor, you have some natural assets and natural weaknesses. Lean into your assets and shore up your weaknesses and see where that gets you. The journey shouldn't be about proving that you can do the same things as someone with a different toolkit; elephants aren't excellent in the same way as jaguars and vice versa. Working against your nature to prove a point is looking at things cockeyed. Work with your nature to become the most excellent form of you. Women absolutely have things to contribute to the space of physical conflict - sometimes very surprising things. The Greek archetypes of Athena and Artemis are people I have met over and over, and are a timeless commentary on what women often bring to combat: wisdom, vision, inspiration, support, intensity, and viciousness. Women shouldn't be shut out of the space for the mere fact of being a woman; to lose their unique contributions would be to impoverish everyone. But neither should they be admitted to spaces in which their particular talents are a poor match, again for the mere fact of being a woman. To do so is to lose sight of the excellence of the art itself and transform it into a worse endeavor. The question to be answered for women is the same as it is for men, or even dogs for that matter: what can you do? In evaluating someone, it is perfectly reasonable to count their manhood or womanhood among their assets or liabilities, so long as we remember that they are also individuals and both compensations and exceptions exist.
It has nothing to do with gender, it has all to do with experience, training and mindset and that one particular female agent appeared to have none of those traits.
I'm perfectly fine with women serving in the secret service, but they need to meet the same standards as men for their role, which means they'll probably be better suited for roles like snipers, spotters, drivers, scouting, or logistics-not frontline bodyguards.
@@richards6431 i am also pretty sure the first lady would rather have male agents carry her out of the restroom if she's shot and wounded there rather than female ones attempting to drag her.
The only problem I have with those women was they were short and that really has nothing to do with sex.,Trump's head was exposed all the way to the limo. Physical requirements are not sexist if those requirements are necessary to do the job at the highest levels. That said women can be deadly shots and excell at organizational skills. There are many positions in the secret service I'm sure they would excel at but the stakes are too high to lower established standards of meritocracy.
The problem isn’t the woman. The problem is the size of the woman as long as the woman can match the height of the potential president then yes, women should be allowed! I made that same argument regarding men if the candidate. And security detail don’t match they shouldn’t be on the detail.
Its simple. The qaulification need to be set and proven. I dont carry what they are packing under their armor. You either meet the qualifications every single time, or you don't get that level of responsibility. I know many males that couldn't do that job mentally or physcially. The female on the president at the podium was quick and seemed to be competent. But she was 18" shorter. male or female, if you are not tall enough to provide body protection, you're out. The one that can't holster her weapon has CLEARLY not trained every single day to a competence level of muscle memory in the heat of battle. That agent, and her supervisors, failed. I would say the same regardless of gender.

The world needs more like her!
No.
Yes, but only a small percentage, which is the the percentage that can fulfill the standards like how men can
No more DEI
Equal opportunity for all, not equal outcome
Exactly
I've never met a woman in my life who is anywhere close to my level of strength. Maybe the top 0.1% of elite female powerlifters are, but they're not going for these jobs. These are just not jobs that women can perform in.
They can, with proper recruitment, training and equipment.
And obviously the women who covered Trump were not appropriately sized for that particular job
What makes you state that you're "as cool as a cucumber "?
Tall don't mean shit. Almost all Spec ops that make it are between 5'5 and 5"10
No means to disrespect you, I’m sure you can hold your own, but in what level of pressure keeps you cool until it doesn’t? I can say the same as you, but until the shots ring out and the guns are pointed at you, it takes an experienced drive to be cool under that kind of pressure.
There are some incredible, skilled and strong women out there. However, if your job is to literally be a human shield, you can't be shorter than your target.
NO
Short answer: No
Point. Secret Service agent vs. Homeland Security agents. I believe only a couple of these agents were actually Secret Service.
Those women were guarding Trumps legs, feet and stomach 😂🥴
The SS lady with the ponytail is the only one that seemed to know what the heck was going on. She had her sidearm pulled, looked around for potential threats as they loaded President Trump in the SUV, and then holstered her firearm, and expediently moved on to the next task.
I don't think them being women per se has anything to do with their inadequacy. What I see is several agents who are physically too short, too small, too slow. Any agent with those characteristics is unfit to do that specific job.
the men protecting trump on that day weren't noticeably better than those women were.
No. They shouldn’t.
Simple answer. NO
The Answer is a simple NO.
Agree.
No
I think the recent Olympic boxing matches showcased the martial prowess of women when confronted with a man intent on doing them harm.
Cue the Benny Hill music one more time for those female SS agents that looked around baffled. 🙈
NO!
Thanks Colion
I totally understand what you mean. Been there done that! Use the talent where it works.
Great interview!❤
No! Only if they are 6 foot five and weigh 225 pounds and have balls bigger than me!
Right? That's like asking should the oldest presidential candidate in American history be elected. 😂
@@Wolfe-zl4ldif they're competent I'm ok with women being in the secret service
They need to learn how to holster their weapons first.
No. No. And ..... no. Lol
Thanks for another clear video 👍💯👍
No, lets be real, even if it hurts, women cant even protect themselves
No!
I completely agree.
Only if they all have the same height, weight, muscular strength, training, and experience. In other words, a man. Which obviously was not the case here.
Body detail should require the agents be physically larger and stronger than the asset. Cover the asset, be ready to move the asset under your own strength.
No, no they shouldn't.
Great honest conversation. One of my favorite Colion videos.
Army huh?
Tom Satterly 1st SFOD-D Delta Force is about 5' 10".
The more you know kids.....
@@JohnDoeEagle1 That is not what I am saying. The detail working right by the President, they have to be tall enough to serve as human shields.
@@MichaelSisley-fw3xr
Trump is abnormally tall at around 6' 3" but someone say 5' 9" or above could cover him.
@@MichaelSisley-fw3xr
RUclips deletes my reply....that's how I know I was on the money!
Bunch of people saying no when they don’t have the courage to.
Totally agree
I've been to some of the top training institutes. Starting with Jeff Cooper at American Pistol Institute (Gunsite). I have never been chastised for holstering my pistol too slow. I have been called out for holstering it too fast. When that female agent couldn't get it holstered the first time, she brought her pistol back to a retention position. Tactically what she did was better than some other ways. At least she didn't shoot herself or someone else. That has happened to some otherwise well trained people while trying to holster their pistols.
Remember, complacency remains one of the primary causes of accidents.
Meal team 6 😂
In evaluating someone, it is perfectly reasonable to count their manhood or womanhood among their assets or liabilities, so long as we remember that they are also individuals and both compensations and exceptions exist.
answer: no
It has nothing to do with gender, it has all to do with experience, training and mindset and that one particular female agent appeared to have none of those traits.
I'm perfectly fine with women serving in the secret service, but they need to meet the same standards as men for their role, which means they'll probably be better suited for roles like snipers, spotters, drivers, scouting, or logistics-not frontline bodyguards.
Great show 👍👏🇺🇸
Some times when size and strength means everything, it really means everything
She is truly refreshingly honest. Ma’am you are awesome!
There is NO space for women in defensive positions.
Really? Say the first lady has to take a dump during a stop, who’s gonna go with her to the restroom to keep her safe?
I'd trust a WM to safeguard woman and children, but most women aren't big and tall enough to shield a man the size of Trump.
@@richards6431you really think men can’t go in there? Lol
@@fox1actual I am pretty sure the First Lady would rather have female agents guarding her while she is taking care of business.
@@richards6431 i am also pretty sure the first lady would rather have male agents carry her out of the restroom if she's shot and wounded there rather than female ones attempting to drag her.
Awesome conversation!
The answer is hell no.
Have that young lady on your channel more often, she brings an honest perspective to young women to help them achieve their highest possible goals!!
There use to be a height, weight, physical ability guideline, they tossed it out.
The problem isn’t the woman. The problem is the size of the woman as long as the woman can match the height of the potential president then yes, women should be allowed! I made that same argument regarding men if the candidate. And security detail don’t match they shouldn’t be on the detail.
Great job you guys ..
Well said
Very good conversation. 👍
