I am a South African and I have been reading books about Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 for many years since my high school days back in the early 90s; I read about Dr Eric Williams; the "founder of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago", I read about Adrian Cola Rinzie, I read about George Chambers, I read about Arthur N Robinson, I read about a small mutiny of Islamic militants let by a man called Abu Bakr (his original name is Lennox Phillip) that attempted to overthrow the government of Mr Robinson, I read about early African slaves and Indian indentured labourers. I must say, the story of Trinidad and Tobago has always been fascinating to me.
