Small correction: Licensed Hunters don’t have complete legal immunity to murder, just less legal responsibility for murder. If a Hunter were to murder repeatedly without reasonable cause, said Hunter could be prosecuted.
hence its more like a light hint that yeah we know youll get into some dirt going on adventures and we hope most of you will make the world better and better yourself but a few slip through the cracks and we know the government wont step in unless it gets too bad so we have an almost MSRB rating system theing where the government knows we hunt down those who step over line. AKA hinted and fufilled in the arc after chimera ant. Hence why hisoka had to take out those who said they would attack him, even he knows its bad to keep fighting hunters. Just like how he didnt get involved when the boss said take out the people in york city.
Considering you learn nen as a part of being a hunter you would live well over the average life span assuming you don’t die. Combined with the fact that to be able to even pass the hunter exam you would need well above average physical capabilities.
To be fair only a few keep up with training like biski and so on, most fall off by age 50 as we see with the older guy in the card game arc. People tend to not have the potential for it. Gon is 1 in a million. Even his dad didnt get 3 stars and he's one of the most powerful in the series.
pretty sure they state he is one of the most powerful hunters. Also 3 stars is among people who made huge changes in the world or impact and even gin didnt achieve this...means alot but if it doesnt to you than its your opinion. @@maxdrags3115
Honestly, if I really wanted to make money, I'd make a nen ability: Type: Transmutation Name: Midas Touch Ability: It's literally midas touch. Anything you touch with your hands transforms into solid gold. You're now fabulously wealthy and can make unlimited money if you know how to sell the gold correctly.
transmutation gives property to auras, you would need conjuration for that like that guy that transforms objects into a mix of the object and animals or one of Killua's buttlers who can transform into nen powered vehicles. (a transmuter is pretty close to conjuration tho, so it may still be viable if you design it well)

@@thermophile1695 You don't even understand your own ability 🤦🏼 Transmutation turns your aura into gold. BUT, to turn other things into gold, you'd literally need Conjuration to turn them gold. You would also probably need Enhancing, since gold is hard, and you'd literally be Enhancing that object by turning it into something harder. Also, Conjuration alone should allow you to just create gold. Transmutation wouldn't be needed. But, in order to make the best gold possible, you'd probably have to do what Kuripika did. And that's to taste, smell and constantly touch gold, and only think about gold, and try and dream about it. Otherwise, your gold would probably be checked by some people, and be seen as fake. Although, otherwise, most people probably won't do that. So you'd probably get away with a "pseudo" gold. Either way, Transmutation alone would not work.
@@maxdrags3115 Transmuters who don't even know their affinity can change the properties of water. Changing stuff to gold permanently is Transmutation.

One great exits, another great enters
That explains why people are willing to risk their lives on the hunter exam

But assuming we do not have the average Hunter’s age, we do need to take the average. That being said I like the thought!

@nichescenes What do Gings 3 Stars have to do with anything?
Also, there is nothing that implies that Ging is one of the most powerful Hunters.
