SevenEllen Yeah, as long as they can make the crossover work well with one another. Kind of the main reason why I enjoyed Freddy vs. Jason in spite of the plot with the teenagers involvement

Very well done. After "bite your head off, man" I expected a mashup using the stolen elevator joke, from "I'll take the next one" in GB1 to "We'll get the next one" in Gremlins 2. And then when I saw the 'mood slime' clips come up, I thought for just a second that you would cut from Venkman's "You're not sleeping with it, are you?" to Greta Gremlin trying to smooch Forster.
I tried that, but the score unfortunately clashed. :) Thanks for your appeciation. ^_^

I really enjoyed this video. It's a interesting combination of two good movies- Gremlins and Ghostbusters. The thing is the editing here just gives me some chills I've never felt before.

Thanks. :-) I saw the sequel when I was a kid and was scared of the Mogwai Stripes when he first appeared, I can clearly remember saying to my mum "I don't think this is suitable for me." and she agreed and switched it off. Thank GOD I didn't see the first movie!! :D
I think I was 6-years-old when my father brought the first movie back from the video rental store. I remember him telling me that I probably shouldn't watch the movie with him and my sister, because it looked like it could be a little too scary for me. I was stubborn, even then, and I insisted on watching it with them.
I should have listened. It took me years to get over my trauma. But even now, I will only watch it during the daytime.
But that's pretty much true for any movie with scary elements in it.
My parents let me watch Arachnophobia when I was a kid, I wasn't the sort of kid to be scared for years by a movie, but I have been scared of spiders for as long as I can remember and still am. Spiders in movies these days tend to look kind of ridiculous to me today, either in a comical way or they're portrayed like monsters coming to eat you, and that's not what Arachnonobia is about. If we were afraid of spiders because they're all poisonous (which they aren't) and they wanted to hunt us (which they don't), that would be logical! :D
If I remember correctly, only two movies scared me when I was a child: "Gremlins," and, "The Dark Crystal." The funny thing is: I could watch things like, "Poltergeist," and not be traumatized by it. Weird, huh?
I remember being scared by Gremlins but not by Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, so it follows. :-D
Poor Peter! Having a humongous spider-gremlin charging at him has *got* to make him appreciate being slimed! :D

Great video! Unfortunately you just know Hollywood would screw it up of they made it.
They wouldn't be able to without Harold Ramis, and, in any case, I don't think the audience would welcome it. Gremlins and Ghostbusters are set in their time, and they just wouldn't work today.

strawberriesapples I think it's cool both these films came out the same year, but a little suspicious just how similar Gizmo's dancing scene is to the dancing toaster scene in Ghostbusters 2. That moment nearly made it in my video with Gizmo in place of the toaster but it didn't work. In honesty, that was a relief as the masking would have taken FOREVER.

Michael Keller WOW!! That is incredible! :D I can't tell you how pleased that makes me. The "scientist Gremlin" is actually nicknamed "Brain", which is perfect as Egon's the brain of the Ghostbusters. :-)) Did you notice the subtle transition I made of Egon's head fading into the brain on the beaker to suggest it's HIS brain hormone in there? ;-)
