One advice compare colleges based on quality of professors and research then placements.
Thank you for your valuable suggestion. I initially considered this approach as well, but after evaluating all the criteria, I believe it may not be the correct criteria to consider at degree level.

You go with pict only because in vit there is big increase in seats in rhis year so vit is risky
I got Vit cs in cap round 2... Now i am stressed after reading comment section.. I got 98.33 in cet and 96.55 in mains
If you compare COEP with PICT then you will get more confused and stressed...
VIT is the second number in pvt college list considering Pune area...
There are hundreds of colleges below VIT considering ranking and all Maharashtra Area. Top of that these students are doing great in their life.
If you are getting VIT then you are already at the best platform. Be happy you have a really good allotment.

Sir got VIT ENTC at 96.68 .. Vit CE IT or pict ece aids
PICT is a well-established brand among private colleges, and gaining admission to any branch here provides substantial opportunities for the future.
However, it is important to note that the ECE and AIDS branches were only introduced last year, making it difficult to predict their placement scenarios at this stage.
On the other hand, both the CE and IT branches at VIT are in high demand and have a strong placement record. Moreover, CE and IT are generally preferred over AIDS Specialization.
While ECE is a challenging or tough branch compared to CE/IT/AIDS, it is more focused on electronics and holds significant potential.

As per the CET cell information brochure, 40% is the minimum mark required to be eligible for the ST category.
Physics and maths are compulsory subjects. However, you can replace the chemistry subject with other subjects to make yourself eligible, such as biotechnology, biology, a technical vocational subject, computer science, information technology, informatics practices, agriculture, engineering graphics, business studies, electronics, or entrepreneurship.

Both VIT Pune and NFSU Delhi are reputable institutions, but the better choice depends on your priorities and interests.
VIT Pune: It's well-established with a strong network and industry connections, particularly in Maharashtra. The curriculum is robust, and being in Pune, you’ll have access to a vibrant tech community and internship opportunities.
NFSU Delhi: It specializes in cybersecurity and digital forensics, with a unique focus on these emerging fields. If you have a strong interest in cybersecurity or forensic science, NFSU might offer specialized resources and exposure.
Branch wise I feel CSE is better than any specialization.

I would like to highlight that I have got CSE (data science)in VIT PUNE and CSE (cyber security)in NFSU
So what to choose??
Also I have the chances of getting CSE DS in SPIT or DJS from Mumbai if I go for the betterment option
