Eh, imo the timer takes the fun out of these. - I'm all for the debuffs driving the challenge. But the timer pretty much Forces you to play a fixed way, and even then you're rushing so much it's hard to enjoy. - The far left area, I just put 3 shield mods on and stand in the zone until it's finished. In all 3 tiers I've never had to kill anything. - The far right, health and energy mods and you can always run through, pick up the blocks and throw. Almost no need to kill. - The left/center, I always do 1st cuz if one's gonna take long it's that one. Sieze, and throw reduction are the mods I use. - The right/center, I use sieze, throw, and health of some sort. Because sieze gives some protection while gathering, throw is usually better than aiming, and you're probably going to get hit. - For the boss I've always just put 3 shield mods on, or 2 Shields and throw reduction. Just stand there with shield, he pops up spits and then turtles up while you shoot him point blank. Then he runs. Rinse and repeat.
I've started the Expeditions not long ago. I managed to beat 1st and second Tier. And now, when i'm wandering in the Bureau and get to fight in the Mail Room or Central Research, I'm having fun bullying the Hiss people whereas before doing the Expeditions, it was still dangerous for me. Expeditions are such a good training !
not really I find it balanced..throwing rocks is effecient only against targets with shields. I can literally melt enemies with basic grip(and infinite ammo mod)
for me its the opposite, i still use the abilities, but damn, pierce well used can one shot normal enemies and with 2 shots in the heads, the mini bosses are out of the battle, with charge, boy, I just shot without aiming to kill a lot of enemies
Thanks to this vid I was able to barely beat my first Tier 3 expedition with seconds to spare by tweeking the loadout a bit like in the vid. However my mods were nowhere near as powerful. Which makes me wonder where you got em. The personal mod %Hp on launch hit was the true MVP.
I just did there now. Got lucky on my first try. The debuffs were -75% weapon damage except for Pierce, +75% enemy damage, and a 100% energy regen buff. For most of the islands I just seized one (sometimes two!) Hiss Clusters and tanked damage with my shield :). I then swapped my personal mods to all shield strength for the tourist, hunted for his trail and then just let him vomit on the shield. That was the easiest part of it come to think of it. I didn't quite finish it in 12 minutes but I think I was close!
The modifiers are a straight up buff! Enemies do less damage, and you can launch stuff at them without end. To me, that sounds safer and faster than without any expedition settings :/
Now this is the work of a professional! Deserves thousands of views. I wish i was half as good at this. I'm too scared to even start the first tier. Did you have many absolute mods already before you started expeditions?
Is there a specific reason you use Damage Against Enemy Armor on Spin when you hit them when their armor is off? I am currently working on my mods. I like Spin but I can't get it to work as well as Grip on these Expeditions. Seems to me Seize Speed works well for me. Great play man!
Nice. I've done in 13:38 with a little bit of a lifehack. Done the job in one section and let them enemies kill me so i could go back to the foundation and continue the others.
I did the first and second tier on the first try and am in the middle of failing the 3rd. My debuffs are -75 damage to all weapons but shatter, +200 enemy health, and +100 ammo recovery. Is it random each time because your debuffs seem much easier to deal with. It takes like 6 shots to kill a basic enemy and my shatter isn't that great. I cant seem to find damage mods above rare, let alone 3 shield break mods.
What I don’t get are these „Bonuses“ n the Expeditions (displayed lower left corner above the health bar) Are they randomized? I always get massive disadvantages but in this video he has a major advantage because of it. Unfair!
Hello again, i see you had armor damage in Spin. I like Spin and your loadout inspired me. I just don't trust having only armor damage. Instead i have damage +72%, +75% and one +140% armor damage. What you think? It seems to melt everything that way too. Grip is equipped with crown jewels, two +80% damage boosts and Eternal Fire. Almost like yours. No time to seize...
I almost completed it. Yesterday, on the boss battle, Distorted thingy was low health and I only have 5 seconds to finish him. But hell no, evading all around when he was just in front of me... I really need help on how to do it properly even though I finished the game.
Expeditions are a lot tougher than the game :-) They are fun tho. Have to try different play styles. Most players who does well use seize acceleration + Grip with Eternal Flame with 2 weapon damage boost mods. I've seen video of 1 guy who use Charge. I use 2 Seize mod with 1 energy recovery mod.
Dude, that last boss is cake. Stand still, Use shield and you can stand right in front of it, once it spits, shoot it. Rinse and repeat. -- The debuffs may play a role in how effective that strategy is. -- But I've run it several times with different debuffs and it's never taken more than 1 min.
the enemy power spike is too far from tier 2 to 3. I was strolling teirs 1 and 2 and then BAM! Tier 3 gives 85% reduction on your damage and 200% health for the enemies. hahaha Also, does anyone know if the damage mod in your side arm also affect your throw damage? I see that in the video it looks like the throw damage is stronger than what I had in teir 3
In the Foundation DLC, there is a player mod where you get health back for hitting with a launched object. If you get that then you'll have an easy way to get health back without having to run for health in unsafe locations. Its how I managed to beat tier 3.

Didn't realise you could sieze the orbs for health regen 😮
It can be really handy as seen here
If you seize two of them, you and they are basically invincible.
@@orkunakman1541holy moly!! Do they heal each other??
Nice work. I've done Tier 3 in 16:11, I don't think I'm getting better than that. That energy regen is crazy lol
Wow. Amazing.
I was totally destroyed in the 1st tier. Was so disappointed that I doubt I'll try it again - too much stress :(
Same happened to me, but beat it on second try, I bet you can do it too
The first one ia definitely the hardest one, if you try to do it right after you unlock them it's really hard
That was great to watch ! I'm pretty bad at this and can't beat the third tier. Thanks for the inspiration !
I'm not that good as well, but I just got really lucky with the perks I received

I started to seize orbs after watched your video. thanks.
After a certain point in the game you just stop using the service weapon all together and just throw rocks
Yes, I'm shit at aiming 😁😥
There's a debuff against his weapon dmg
not really I find it balanced..throwing rocks is effecient only against targets with shields. I can literally melt enemies with basic grip(and infinite ammo mod)
Charge is really useful, it tracks he invisible ones after being shot, and make its blast radius huge, and they become visible due to damage
for me its the opposite, i still use the abilities, but damn, pierce well used can one shot normal enemies and with 2 shots in the heads, the mini bosses are out of the battle, with charge, boy, I just shot without aiming to kill a lot of enemies

When im playing so much this game i didnt beat the tier 1... 😶😓
Thanks 🙋♂️🤝🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thank you very much, yes I had quite a few, when the game came out I played it a lot, I really like it
Just use the one hit kill options on the menu
Is there a specific reason you use Damage Against Enemy Armor on Spin when you hit them when their armor is off?

Nah u want to use it to break armor and inmeadiately switch to dps weapon, I have one for armor break and another for dps
250% Energy Recovery jesus. That said, I can't wait for Control 2. They should called it: Authority. lol
Nice. I've done in 13:38 with a little bit of a lifehack. Done the job in one section and let them enemies kill me so i could go back to the foundation and continue the others.
Fuck yeah thank to your guides managed to complete it with 4 mins remaining :)

I like the part when Jesse used throwing and dashing

Yes, they are random.

Thats good as well, you will take a bit longer to kill armored enemies but you will just melt the ones without one. I will try that as well
@@MightyNoob Thanks! Did you change your name?
@@BlueGlossContent Yes, I just changed it a few hours ago, Anthy0 was an old username that I was using when I was a kid, got tired of it :D

Wow good shit what's a fast way to grind for tokens
If you feel like you are running out of time just abort expedition. That token won't be used.
How did you get this outfit ?
Thank you!
Damn. I had 1 minute left!
What is that skin?
oh my god, just beat this Tier 3 shit with +150 % enemy damage, -75% weapons player damage, +100% health
❣️
