Really enjoy your videos! Would love to see a video focusing on your gym programming/method of progression - what sets/reps/%s look like across a block, etc.
Stoked to see such an awesome day, and the progress shown! 🔥 As someone on a lean bulk trying primarily to build muscle alongside my running currently, I so get that satisfying feeling of getting to handle more weight 👏
Great vid. How do you find mixing your weekend training with other elements of life such as seeing friends and family? Do you find that as you train as a couple, it helps alot ? My wife isn't really into fitness/training, so it can be hard to balance my training around spending quality time with her, training properly and then also trying to keep up with friends and family.
Can I transition into hybrid training while bulking and wanting to prioritise gaining muscle? Also,I use to love running but then started pushing max effort sessions and now every time I think of running I hate it. Any advice to change this?
For sure! Just got to eat enough and make sure your training is balanced. If running feels hard and sucks atm, whilst you’re focusing on gaining muscle I’d just do less of it. Drop your weekly mileage and make your average intensity on runs easier, you can go a few weeks/months just training around zone 2. Might be a good reset for your relationship with running. Then when you’re ready and weather’s getting nicer you could ramp running back up again (or not, it’s up to you) 👍🏼💪🏼
RPE mainly, at least in the core compounds. When I approach failure (after a few weeks of increasing weight), I usually stop and change my rep scheme for the next session 👍🏼

do you train to failure on all your gym lifts? Or is it RPE work?
RPE mainly, at least in the core compounds. When I approach failure (after a few weeks of increasing weight), I usually stop and change my rep scheme for the next session 👍🏼
How many days a week do you run Andrew
4 or 5 usually 👍🏼 that’s to run about 50k weekly
