Augusto Alvarez bah, while I'm not crazy about BvS I do think people highly exaggerate how bad it is. But that's the internet for you, average and indifference don't exist anymore, everything is either amazing or the worst thing ever.
So yea comment is just pointing out that the hate towards the guy is out of proportions and, in my book, underserved.

A New Day Pretty much every critic that has seen the movie have all said that Gal absolutely KILLS IT in the movie, they said she wasn't carried by any other actors at all, which says alot considering the star power in the film.
So maybe you should watch the movie before saying she can't act.

Just came out of the theater watching the movie and Wonder Woman surely is the best female super hero movie!! Still can't get over the excitement I had during the movie! Loved it more than marvel movies for sure and even much better than MoS, BvS. She is my new hero!
I pray for the day when a studio disregards critics and rotten tomatoes and just releases a movie.

The Wonder Woman movie had the perfect balance of comedy, action, and tragedy. this movie brought up the DCEU! GOOD JOB DC!!!!!!!!
Romance as well and a throwback to old fashioned action movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark..
For anyone who's a Zack Snyder hater and saying that this film is good because Patty Jenkins directed it and not him, let me remind all of you that he co-wrote the story along with Allen Heinberg and was an executive producer for the film. So regardless of anyone refuses to admit it, he absolutely deserves some credit for the success of the movie as well.
Here's hoping Justice League will be just as good.

But yeah the plot, story structure, and choice of villains was mostly Snyder's doing according to reports.

I think the credits said story by snyder but he didn't write it? Remember there were other executive producer for the film. If you want to give credit for it then mention the other producers. Not only Zack Snyder.

I feel like WW and Aquaman, and MAYBE Batman's standalone film will be solid DCEU films. I still feel iffy about Justice League and Flash and the rest. But we'll see.
The rest will be at least decent from here on out.
Caden Presley if they nail Mathew Vaughn or Sam raimi or the back to the future director for flash, then I believe that the movie will turn out well

I reject the notion that people just hear the word "feminism" and automatically assume it's bad without researching it. I think the exact opposite is true. Most people start off with the assumption that feminism just means gender equality and that it's a good thing, and it's the ones who look into it a little deeper who come to a different conclusion.

i couldnt give a rats but how high or low Wonder Womans or any films score is on rotten tomatoes.
I was never bothered by the DCEU ... from jump. Because I remember interviews with Zack Snyder/Geoff Johns saying this time period (BvS/Suicide Squad) is the DARK period of the DCEU. Everyone has to think larger than one movie. You can't think in one movie terms when you are creating a CINEMATIC UNIVERSE. So you have to 'start' somewhere.
Now, why in the world would they start from the same ol same ol place they've started with SEVERAL times over (origin stories for Superman & Batman) we've already seen that. So they JUMPED right into the action. They jumped into these characters stories at their DARKEST moment (before the DAWN {of justice}). That's always been the plan and the point.
Wonder Woman (just like Aquaman) allows us to experience heroes who are not jaded like Sup and Bats, so of course their tone is going to be very different. When everyone sees Justice League I think more people will understand.
Along with that Warners made some mistakes with their Cinematic Universe for DC. They started doing two completely different things at one time. One one hand, they have all these diverse directors that make these films and they give them full creativity to do what they like (within the limitation of the universe they're creating) but then they started doing that Marvel stuff. Where everything boils down to one persons decisions. Warners took Zack's BvS and Ayyer's Suicide S. and edited them to death, literally sucking the life out of them for the theatrical release.
They learned their lesson and allowed Patty Jenkins to just make the film she wanted to make without their interference and it's paying off ... big time. They are more open now to trusting their directors. Wonder Woman, Justice League and Aquaman are about to CHANGE THE GAME of comic book films.

Yeah, that whole "at their lowest" thing doesn't work when you don't give them enough time or proper development. Why do think people were complaining that Superman was a sad bore?
JAX Completely agree 100% these films going forward are going to set a new level of movie making especially for Superhero's, Warner Brothers and Zack did say they wanted to start in the darkest moments as its larger than just one movie and Warner Brothers had to stop meddling and trust their directors, Justice League, Aquaman, The Batman are about to change the game as well as MOS2, The Flash, Gotham City Sirens, Batgirl, people forget this was the plan to start out Dark but it didn't help with Warner Brothers editing. I always said to everyone, you take Superman the Movie and The Dark Knight, blend them together and that's the bar and level DC and Warner Brothers are aiming for and will achieve.

As excited as I am about this score, I wouldn't hype it (the score) up just yet. Movie hasn't come out to the public yet so expect a slight decline; however, I don't think it will get less than a 90%. I do hope I'm wrong though. :)
Just don't forget percentage not only falls, but can raise as well! That tends to happen, when like-dislike ratio being kept in favor of former for period of time long enough for the score to rise! It can still potentially go up to eben 99%, but for that to be possible number of negative votes shouldn't go beyond 5 or 6 with number of positive votes to be beyond 500 or something....Yes that is extremely unlikely and unrealistic, but not impossible in theory! To me its pretty obvious the score will fall a little bit, but i still think it can remain in high 90's range, rather than fall to low 90's!...I predict something like 94-96 in a week or two, but maybe i am way too positive...we'll see!

The negative reviews are fun to read too. Some are saying that this is a movie that won't fail because its the first big budget female super hero movie.
I prefer trakt.tv over TV Time but whatever you do integrate it in Kodi or whatever other media center you use. Manually adding stuff you've watched everytime is a pain in the ass and having that automated is great.

actually it's 94% now so hopefully tomorrow it will be official on what rate it will be my opinion is 91% or 89% but it's a win for DC cause finally they got one.
As of 6/4/17 it is at 94% with an average rating of 7.6/10 and that takes into consideration the 16 rotten ratings which no doubt were Marvel fans in contrast there is an overwhelming positive 231 fresh ratings.
Personally I'm a Marvel fan, but if Wonder Woman can beat Logan in rotten tomatoes, I'm willing to give it a chance.

When the movie is actually good, it deserves the tomatoes, unlike Batman vs Superman and Suicide Squad. Though I am a marvel fan, I am really happy that this movie is doing great. This also opens up the opportunity to do a lot of female superhero movies in the future

I'm not happy that they made the Amazons and all humanity Zeus' creation, but I can accept it as an AU thing. Of all the people the Amazons shouldn't like, someone like Zeus would be near the top of the list. His treatment of women isn't exactly great.

This puts so much pressure on Bri Larson and her Captain Marvel movie.
The demos taken so far show that younger male audiences are not flocking to this movie as of yet, but that overwhelming positive word of mouth reviews around the world may turn that tide.. Maybe younger male movie goers don't think a female superhero can be kick ass.. They couldn't be more wrong with Wonder Woman..

97%... Lmao, that number is the most misleading thing ever. The real score is 7.7 (For example, TDK has 8.6/10). That being said, 7.7 is already a good score, so I'm most definitely excited for seeing this movie.
