Sweet! I loved the Iron Giant movie as a kid and I still love the movie today. If I were to modify the bolt, I'd hollow out the head of the bolt and add some sort of remote controlled off-balanced rotating device that would imitate the bolt moving around like it was trying to reach a gathering destination.
I was going to say the same thing... never seen Adam Savage on anything but Myth Busters before this, and it kinda made him look like a control freak. He snatched that shit quick.. hah I think he even made eye contact.. XD

I would love to see "garage kits with Adam" as its own weekly series! Sounds like he's got enough to do that. I also feel like the model kits are not 100% in the "1 day builds" spirit. If you ask me, the 1 day builds should be original creations by Adam or Frank (or really any of the tested crew). Not to say that I don't appreciate model making as a hobby/art, I just feel like they're not 100% unique.

I admire this man so god damn much, and if I had the resources I would love to do stuff like this myself! Never stop, Adam. You are a great inspiration to me, and propably a ton of other people aswell!

YES! Iron Giant! Oh my gosh that is one of my favourite childhood movies. I've been noticing a strange resurgence of the Iron Giant being seen or mentioned online these past couple months.

Then I thought I can be a mix of different types kinda like you. Every time I see the things you build i am truly inspired. I just want to say thanks you for inspiring me.

I don't know if there are any plans of him returning to contribute, but it seems he's just been too busy with his personal projects. Who knows, but maybe they'll eventually phase him out of the logo now that Will is officially not of tested as well.
