    0:29 it's a flyer ID and operator ID NOT a license.
    Technically you were BVLOS as it was beyond where you and spotters could see it.
    Have a look at the map (and enlarge it) in the bottom left corner of the screen which shows the path of the flight.

      Hi Roger, yes you are correct. A flyer ID is like a driving license for drones of a certain type.
      The operator ID is a registration number which must be on the drone.
      I would have looked at the map but the display was so dim it was virtually impossible to see anything.
      I need to upgrade my controller 👍🏼
      Apparently this dimming and lightening of the screen is a known issue with the iPhone when using it with a drone controller.
      Edit. It wasn't BVLOS. It just wasn't where we were looking. It was just 31 metres away.

      Hello again Craig, good to hear from you.
      Are you talking about the orange balls?

      @@molometer Yes, are they buoys of some sort?
      I'm doing fine. How about you!

    • @molometer
      @molometer  Год назад +1

      @@CraigLong Yes they are mooring bouys. I didn't see any boats on the loch but I'm sure when people are fishing they tie their boats to the bouys.
      Good to hear you are ok. I'm fine too thanks.
      I moved to a new place and needed a little rest then...6 months later! 💯😂👍🏼

      Hi Craig, just found this comment. Yeah it's fine in London but I'm looking at other options.
