    My wife divorced me and I now live in a dacia logan, the boot space is amazing with the seats down I almost feel like I'm in a double bed with her again.
    Spacious and highly practical car, I keep most of my belongings in a thule roof box on top of my dacia.

    Needed a car that would do the general city runaround stuff, and allow me to carry my two large dogs to their walking area. bought the middle spec Logan, cost £ 9,000. does everything I ask of it, and you know what, its fun to drive with character that is missing from most cars today. very pleased, and would recommend to anyone in the market for a similar vehicle. good review, helped me decide, well done.

    I bought a used 2014 Logan 1.5 DCI lauerate in Dec 18. Very pleased with it so far. Fab MPG, good to drive and comfortable. I'm often on the road with a full boot and kayaks on the roof rack and MPG is still very good. Changed the standard radio for an android head unit so now I have bluetooth phone, spotify, Google navi, and radio in one. Definitely would recommend this car.

    After 17 years of a Ford Fiesta that hasn't failed me once, and with the children being a tad bigger now, it was time to change to a 4 door car with space for surf boards, tents and so forth. Did a lot of searching and test driving and going through the various reviews, I've bitten the bullet and the Dacia Logan has been a fantastic buy. I wanted the 900 cc petrol version but after a 6 week wait the demand was greater than the supply so I had no choice but to purchase a 1.5cc diesel, air con bla bla, and for me this has been a cracking buy, not a boy racer, but not a sloppy Joe either if you ignore the gear change light. The amount of space is as required , and the nearest competition is thousands of pounds more. A real , honest, no nonsense quality budget car that the competition needs to look at a bit sharpish, because it's head and shoulders ahead of what I've looked at. Good review by the way.

    Bought i Logan 1.5 diesel in june,well happy with it, the Renault / Nissan running gear is very up to the task......They may not be the most stylish of cars but it ticks all the boxes for me as im saving £10 a week on fuel & no road tax & loads of room for the dog.....

    My sister has a Sandero she panic bought it as a runaround when Mercedes were being twats about her warranty repair. The 0.9 litre turbo threebanger ended up getting a slight tune up, but even stock, that little bastard was shamelessly quick. Had the pleasure of driving the car for a few weeks, and coming from a top spec Saab, I could definitely see the difference in quality. But to be honest i wasn't all that bothered by it, it was fun to drive and i liked it, other than that i dont really care.
    Oh and i have a standing order with the local Dacia Dealer, the moment the first Duster with an automatic gearbox and 1.5dci engine rolls onto Swedish soil, his first call is to me.

    I am a consumption record for Logan II, Diesel, 90 HP, 88 mpg and another consumption record with my old Logan I, Diesel, 68 HP, 91 mpg. The old Logan I have now 135.000 miles and new one just 17.000 miles. Whit out any kind of troubles both.

    ive got one of these and its brilliant does everything I ask like camping trips, work runs and the shopping with ease and despite its size and only having the 3 cylinder its quicker than all my friends cars to, so glad I bought it nearly 6000 miles in 2 months and not a single problem. (would recommend boot nets though as the boot is so large shopping can spill around if not carful)

    Had a sandero, just bought a top spec Logan. The 0.9 is the same engine as the current 0.9 Clio. It even says Renault on it. Go have a look at the Logan, then look at the Clio, it's the same car with a different body. The newest version has start stop and regenerative braking just like far more expensive cars. I'm not saying it's better than audis and bmws but for a car under 10k new, it's gotta be worth it. Put it this way, you could lose one, buy a new one and still have money left over for what you would pay for a lot of cars!

    I've just ordered the Dacia Logan MCV Laureate Prime as it meets all the requirements that I had, and at a very reasonable price, less than £13,500 as I added a few of the additional packs to the show room spec. I've opted for the 1.5 dCI90 Renault/Nissan engined version, and was really impressed with it after the test drive - and reviewing the fuel ecomony (74.3 to 80.0MPG) and no car tax till 2017 due to the very low emissions.
    The low level loading was the biggest requirement for my 10.5 year old German Shepherd.

    I just picked up a brand new top spec Logan mcv 0.9 Tce Black Line edition. The intention was to put the Logan in use simply as an mule and if there were some more to come out of it so hurray.
    Suprise , suprise, the car is so dam good on the road and well made that it puts our main estate year -17 paid for more than twice the price off an Logan mcv in a bit of a shame.

    Test drove both petrol and diesel models. 1.5 Diesel much nicer. It's a plain car. Simple but practical no frills interior. . But exceptional value for money no doubt!

    My daughter bought a new Logan and was pleased with it until one day there was no clutch! It was less than three years old and within warranty. The car was ‘repaired’ but later after warranty expired the clutch failed again. The dealer insisted that it was the clutch master cylinder reseviar and she had to pay. A couple months later the clutch failed again and now they say it must be the master cylinder and they want £1200 . The Dacia dealer in Exeter in case you want to know. The failed but the dealer was unable to correctly diagnose properly making bad situation really difficult

      +PCFreak Oh... Here in Brazil it certainly should be a good first car. However, in european market, with better roads and fuel... best you search other models, such as Clio.

    Good value for money. My father own the 1st generation. Comparing with my work car, Focus 3, in 120.000 km: Focus had much more faults. No offence Ford : ) Yes, Focus is a superiour car. And 3 times expensier. In my opinion, the new diesel Dacia is even more quaieter than Focus 2 diesel. Personally I'll change the suspension, put larger wheels and change the front seats. 2500 euro extra? Not expensive and yet good value for money.

    Two people set off from London to Birmingham. One in this, one in a Ferrari.
    They get there at the same time. Because that's the M1.
    Plot twist. Ferrari man gets to Brum, goes to get out and thinks.. "sh1t.. the kids are still in Eltham".

    If you buy 3 series estate, it will losse 7.000 of any money after one year.
    And Dacia would wort something even after 10 years. If seats are good, it does not brake down every other day, does not cost fortune to repair and does not use too much in fuel, you are better off than with many second hand cars.
    Car is peice of plastic and metal that gets you from A to B. If you need a car, buy a car, and have a life.

    • @mirola73
      @mirola73 7 лет назад +1

      Yep, seriously thinking about getting one that is nearly new (cause it's much cheaper, but just as good as a new one).

  • @paullacey2999
    @paullacey2999 4 года назад

    They are cheap and cheerful.Stop harping on about plastics and dash etc.They cost thousands less and thats the trade off.They are big,roomy dont cost much to buy and run and for most ordinary people that arent brand obsessed these Dacias are perfectly suitable.Accept its not up to date and youll be fine with it.Or take a chance on a second hand something else...

      Right...tell that to all the Romanian taxi drivers with their 10 year old 1st gen Logans with half a million km on the clock and still going strong...And even when things do go wrong, these cars are some of the cheapest to repair due to their simplicity

      Some of the taxis I rid in had over 500000+ km on the odometer and still running just fine. You have to remember that the Dacia from the 90's was not passed on since the company was bought by Renault. Just give it a try.

    Dacia cars are really shit. Total waste of money, poor quality and have very poor re-sale value. Spend your money on a quality car. I would be feeling embarrassed driving in a Dacia car.

    • @LiamS94
      @LiamS94 7 лет назад +3

      You are kidding, right? I wouldn't call spending 6 grand on an entry Sandero a waste of money if I just wanted something to tide me over for even just five years or so. And, hah, "quality car". I may be a BMW owner, but even I know they aren't "quality" in terms of reliability, at least with a Dacia you know they are so simple there is hardly anything in there to go wrong. And even if something does go wrong it will be cheap as fuck to repair since it's only using old Renault components. I'm here preparing myself for an arse-clenching bill when something goes wrong with my BMW.
