J.Lo case is literally an improved version of Milli Vanilli, instead of her not saying a word, they made her sing few words but majority of the song is carried by the background vocals.

@monday week I am "white" (European) and I don't see the ethnicity issue...the issue here is that she has not a real vocal talent - in general her talents are average if we analyse them with a more critical eye - even when she talk her voice has not a nice tone. She was smart and used her relationship with PDiddy to enter in theusic environment and I'm sure she didn't think twice to take advantage of the situation and people...she is a real hustler herself.
