Ada Lipinska over the years Perrie got worse, voice's not resonant, range isn't supported, lowering and raising the larynx in every note like it's a rodeo, throaty pitch placement (where it should never be) and lowering of the larynx to create a thicker and deeper tone and so on.

The problem here is that people are being triggerred - and feel like these artists are not talented because they're dodging notes, or falling flat - the thing is, they are falling flat or dodging not because of lack of talent, but because of lack of technique. Anyone here who sings can tell you - the more you force yourself into hitting the high note, the more likely it'll be strained. Relax into it, and it'll be easier - maybe not perfect - but it will rapidly improve. I can falsetto all the way up to an A5 - no reason these singers can't mix all the way to a G#5, other than poor training. Singing across your entire range is difficult.

I don't think people understand that theyre not just performing one song. Concerts are at a minimum an hour long. That's an hour of singing, dancing and straining their voices. Let alone doing that every night. I give em all big props

I was also thinking about Twice when I saw this comment XD but I think their agencies deceide what to do most of the time.
Ariel Burrow some of them can hit the notes in a controlled setting (like the studio) or when they are younger, but then when they have aged or are bouncing around a stage it's harder to control your breathing and pitch.
Generally speaking an artist will have recorded the studio version after at least 6 months of rest post-tour from the previous album promotion, so their vocals have had plenty of rest and can therefore be pushed harder and higher. However once they've done the promotion for the new music, which is hundreds of shows, tv appearances and just talking in general, it's harder to reach those peak moments they hit in the studio with ease. Also as someone commented above, age has a lot to do with vocal ability. We just have to look at Mariah as a perfect example of a woman who had an amazing voice in her prime but as she's aged her voice just can't get there now, which is okay, it's only natural! Our bodies age, so it's only fitting our voices she too.

As a trained singer myself, I can tell you there is so little breathing room in heart attack that I’m surprised she’s able to perform it so well live.
There's no reason to judge these people for lip syncing or not singing the high notes because by pushing your voice higher than it can go you can PERMANENTLY DAMAGE IT! I'm a choir and every single person in the choir is warned about this!

Usually singers dodge high notes because of vocal stress and exhaustion either from they are getting sick or just plain tired or are saving there voice for other shows. Doing back to back shows can put a lot of more stress on their vocals.

GarageStudio true. Say what you want about Mariah's inconsistency in recent years but she didn't have as many vocal problems as these girls when she was their age. She was also a more creative singer.
I try to give them the benefit of time since they're still young and learning but I have a feeling that most of them will go the way of Xtina, rather than Beyoncé. You have to take care of your instrument and take singing seriously if you want to blossom to your full potential and maintain it.

Perrie CAN hit every of her high Note easily, but every Singer can be sick or Stressed or like perrie had a tonsil removal - they have to Perform different than in the original, so that they are even able to perform, that has nothing to do with the ability to do it

So I just wanted to say a few things:
1. Demi began to attempt the phrased F5s, G5s and G#5 after the beginning of the Tell Me You Love Me Tour
2. The Change Your Life high note is quite hard to sing but I don't think it's so hard that Perrie would have to dodge it that often
3. The Pink Champagne high belts are literally the most difficult things I've ever heard someone sing in my whole life after Mariah's whistle notes. Ariana rarely sang them live because they're extremely difficult, even for someone with a tessitura as high as hers.
4. The Always Be My Baby high notes are the easiest ones in this video so I don't understand why she found it so hard to sing. Even the run after the sustained F5 is harder than the note itself
