About me:
I am a Travel Consultant with over 20 years of experience in group travel and land packages etc. After several requests I started doing Travel Vlogs in late 2018 and more actively Aruba Walks & Vlogs in 2020.
Another great walk Hyro. I like seeing the remote places.
Thank you my friend!
Beautiful nature and beautiful pink flowers, especially the tunnel of love unfortunately neglected and deserted, thank you Hyro👍 for this video I loved watching and clips.
Thanks, this was a very “hot” hike. Not recommended at midday hours like I did. I did enjoy it though, it’s a beautiful and interesting area!
Fantastic upload my friend, this looks so exotic and picturesque! Outstanding hike and cinematography!
Thank you so much🙂
Masha danki Hyro, for always showing Aruba from a different perspective! The area of Vader Piet is perfect for windmills..never did the walk from the water. I remember going to the Tunnel of Love cave...Huliba/Baranca Sunu cave..and having to pay for a flashlight, nothing on my Nokia at that time early 2000's.. Beautiful steep climb down into the cave...Too bad it's not open anymore... All the best, Ayo
It really is the type of videos I like to make! Jammer poco salo a cai riba e lens y mi no a ripare :-( I miss going in to the Tunnel of Love!
Wow!! Definitely not for swimming but I'm sure just sitting there watching the waves is beautiful. So sad about the trash though 😞 interesting history too- thank you for all the knowledge and information you provide. I do love to see all the hidden places in Aruba so thank you!
My thoughts exactly (sitting and watching the waves). As always, happy to share about these areas.
Great video always Hyro! All of that trash wow! Thank u for showing the good and not so good parts of Aruba.
Thanks Carleanos. Yes I know it's sad & frustrating but maybe these videos help make us even more conscious about keeping the places we visit clean. If we all do our part I'm sure we will start seeing a turnaround.
Wauw lieff, I love this so much! Really a great hike! Lucky me that I saw an Aruban rabbit last week 😍 and I love the beautiful pink flowers of the 'Coral Vine' or also called necklace of love. In Dutch we call it: 'Koraal wijnstok' of 'Ketting van liefde' because of the heart-shaped leaves 💚 Looking forward to the next hike🏜😍
Glad you enjoyed it lief! Yes, you were very lucky and loved checking out this area with you and S. Be pending for more :-) hope to see you soon!
@@LetsgowithHyro 🥰 I hope so too lief!
Thanks for sharing I didn't know of this area. Looks like a great place to hike for sure. Wish I was around when the cave was in use.
Thanks for watching Tamika!
I always wondered where that was. Now I know and have to check it out. It’s a bummer that it’s closed off but I understand to preservation process. This is why your videos rock, always find something new explore for my next visit.
Yeah it's a bummer. Even for me not being a fan of caves I can tell you that one was really cool to go through. Be pending for more from the Arikok National Park, thanks again for the support.
Very nice video bro.
I have been to Aruba many times, but have never been to the Tunnel of love. Thank you for this video, I loved it. Keep the hiking videos coming 🙂
Hello Manon, nice to hear from you. Glad you liked this area! More hiking type videos to come, be pending.
FYI, they are 'wind turbines' at the Vader Piet Wind Farm, not "windmills". They produce electricity, they do not mill, pump, or grind anything.
True! Thanks for the correction .
i enjoyed this vlog, thank you for putting this out!! brilliant job 🤗
Thanks Kristina 🙂
@@LetsgowithHyro you are welcome!! 🤗
True Aruba 🇦🇼 lover here. Keep up the great walks bro.
Thank you 🙌 I will!
Hi Hyro. I enjoyed this video very much. I like to see other parts of the island, not just the popular spots. Keep the great work!
Glad you enjoyed it my friend. Be pending for a nearby area to be released later today :-)
Ahh this was the video you mentioned about the lens, all good... it is a Hyro video so even if it was just audio only it would be good... also when you say "my excuses" I think you're really wanting to say "my apologies"... love your content as always
Thank you my friend, so kind of you I really appreciate it. It's not an easy area to redo this hike, at least not at the time of day that I did it. So I prefer to share anyway :-)
Our there any volunteer groups that I can join to help clean up the beaches when in Aruba ?? Love the videos !
With the amount of wind and Sun in Aruba. Wind and solar power would sure make sense.
Hello Paul, I know the Turtuga (turtle) Aruba does regular cleanups. My intention is to have a few of these beach cleanups dates too, starting next year. I will be announcing it as soon as I have more information.
@@LetsgowithHyro we'll be in Aruba the last week of February. I'll keep watching to see if your doing a beach clean up.
its sad to see that what we grew up knowing as Tunnel Of Love , is now closed and abandoned.. Its sad to see this place in such decay... I remember going thru the cave so many times as a teenager with so many friends... And its just memories now...
Sad indeed huh?! For me it was the coolest cave when growing up and we would always make a stop here. So much has changed.
@@LetsgowithHyro do you recall why they did this?
Right on Hyro! Aruba could easily be 100% energy independent. Why send your money somewhere else?
☺️My point exactly☺️
Why is the video so foggy looking. Not your usual level of clarity Hyro. Old camera?
That is correct! I used the same camera that I use for most of my walks but unfortunately the sea salt got on the lens and I did not realize this :-( Figured it was still worth sharing because it's a difficult hike to redo. Good eye my friend!
its a sha e that much trash on this beautiful island its a shame
Exactly :-(
Is it possible to pass in the military zone
You can as long as there is no training. Otherwise it would be illegal.
Danki! Merci! Thank you!
This trash is awful. 😔 I hope many people will see this video, and take it very seriously. ♡
Yep, it's very frustrating!
Ugly trash windmill! 🤮🤮🤮
Hate the trash too.
