I used to live down the highway from your shop. we stopped one day, and an employee gave us an impromptu tour. I don't think he was supposed to, but did anyway. I'll never forget it. This was back in the 90's.... BIGFOOT will always be number 1!!
Idk what these goofs are talking about but I grew up maybe 30 minutes from the shop and visited several times. I remember sitting on that porch swing they had hanging under Bigfoot 5s front axle. Such a cool place with amazing people.
I had the edited version of this on a vhs when I was a kid. I was either Bigfoot king of the monster trucks or Bigfoot in action. I was really happy to see the less edited version of this.
Thanks for the memories. I was a Bigfoot nut back then. I remember seeing Bob and Jim with the "new" body style truck in about '82 or "83 at Roberts Stadium in Evansville Indiana. It was a USHRA event. That's still my favorite shade of blue. Bill "Maverick" Golden was there with his new 'Little Red Truck'.
I remember only seeing clips of the truck crush on the Bigfoot: King of the Monster Trucks, Bigfoot In Action & Bigfoot Strikes Again vhs tapes when I was a kid. Great to see the whole thing 30 years later.
Back in like 2013-2015, not that long ago really. I seen this Bigfoot 4, at Hot August Nights car-show in Reno, Nevada, it was parked around Virginia street, down from the Legacy and Circus, and no Bigfoot personnel was in sight and nothing fenced around the truck so I got right underneath the truck and looked at the chassis. Everything was big, and heavy duty and the transfer-case was external chain driven by a huge Tank/Ship size roller chain. Thats what caught my eye the most when I looked underneath it. Nobody believed me so a few hours later we went to look again and the truck was gone.
Wow!! It is so totally cool to see this footage! Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. Bigfoot trucks are and have always been my favorite, as well as your awesome employees!
{TRUMP NATION} Beautiful trucks? I only saw a crumby Chevy and a Dodge! For real, though, they were probably second hand bodies just jazzed up and put on big tires for the publicity shoot.
I know! i was like hes not gonna....omg he is.....nooooo I'd kill for a dodge like that these days! They musta been stock trucks loften way up with tires thrown under, that dodge had skinny ass axles lol.
It's funny, the red car looked flatten and both of those sacrificial monster trucks, were turned to scrap. Yet that road boat between the red car and the monster, barely had a dent in it.
I felt heart broken watching the red Chevy get crushed because that's my favorite body style out of all the Chevy trucks ever made & there's not too many of them around nowadays.
They were from a Letourneau Overland Train. Bigfoot 5 was purpose built to run them. Kinda makes all other monster trucks seem rather sensible by comparison don't it?
Loved this as a kid. Though I look now and notice a certain lack of gearbox, transfer case, driven axles, suspension (beyond the solid bars that were welded in) or potentially an engine in either of the crushed trucks. All mocked up theatre for the cameras...
Dustin Parks I am not 100% sure, but I think he was doing the "rocking" to try to get the axle to break on the yellow truck. I'm sure if he had kept on the throttle it would have went over the cabs no problem.
I was thinking the same thing. I also saw how the rear tire seemed to not get onto the cab. The jump cut from when #4 was on the crushed vehicles to when the axles were bent had me confused. I'm sure it would have no issue, just hard to get momentum when the gearing is so low to get the tires to turn.
What the tape this is taken from I used to have it when I was younger also had big foot chasing a car then going through the house and also trucks racing in water?

E K It wasn’t a Chevy that got them where they are today.

Those poor Chevy and dodge trucks 🥲 still awesome though. I’ve only ever seen a picture of this 😁
That dodge axle just wouldn't give lol! Awesome footage, thanks for showing it all!
Whoa!! I love seeing old footage of Bigfoot that I never seen before!

I still have those tapes man! I doubt they work anymore. Kinda nervous to try them in the old tape player lol
What a great rare video of an such iconic image from Bigfoot home video.
Taurus and Bearfoot crushed busses. Bigfoot crushed Monster Trucks... All Hail The King.

This is #5 Bigfoot right? This was awesome 😂👍
Bigfoot 4, 5 is seen at the beginning next to 4, 5 is the one we have today

Back in a time when monster trucks were everything.
Then when that wasn't enough...
"We must crush monster trucks with an even bigger monster truck!"
lololollolol lol olollololliollololo
I remember watching this on TV with my brother as kids. Coolest thing we ever saw.
It still might be!
Such awesome footage from the Bigfoot vault.
I can only imagine what in that vault that we haven't seen yet.
am I the only one crying seeing those beautiful trucks smashed?!?!
{TRUMP NATION} back then they were just trucks but I know what you mean
{TRUMP NATION} same here

That's horrible to destroy those trucks the Dodge look badass
That's what I was thinking. I'd take the chevy. Don't crush and old truck crush the new ones
The only monster truck that can crush a monster truck
I sure wish they still made suspension as tough as the yellow truck had nowadays!
Those were just welded frames. Also if you notice those were a Chevy and a dodge truck being crushed by a Ford.
@@Beer-can_full_of_toes I noticed that as well. Not even real axles. But i didn't notice it back when i first seen it in the 80's
All monster trucks are awesome then and now and they will probably be around for many years to come
They need one of those massive earth mover dump trucks modified, that would be a real beast
You Mean The Minibg Dump Truck?
You noticed the other two trucks were Chevy and Dodge, that chevy looked nice that's sad to watch.
Was thinking how nice it would be to have that Dodge there too.

Custom monster truck builder:How monster do your truck is?
Bigfoot owner: yes.
This is what happen.
Did anyone else notice that he was crushing a Chevy and a Dodge?🤘
Unfortunately it will not
What the hell is that ad
Anyone else notice the dodge held up better
He didn't surrender as easy as the other one
My dad drove an old 3/4 ton Dodge of that bodystyle. It did hold up better!
Yup. Gave Big Foot a sore toe.
Either way squarebody chevys are better.
That’s just the coolest thing ever 👍🤘
Imagine having to call AAA for a tow.
The throne of Bigfoot
Dang that thing is a BEAST!
Such a funny figure at 8:15, all you see is tires lol
1:53 the poor Corvette looks like a toy compared to big foot. 🤣🤣🤣

Back when monster trucks were actually "MONSTER" trucks
That's neat you get to see the full length on how big foot five crushed the monster trucks a very nice rare seen
This is Bigfoot IV
I felt heart broken watching the red Chevy get crushed because that's my favorite body style out of all the Chevy trucks ever made & there's not too many of them around nowadays.
But at the same time that body style was
As abundant as a new Silverado these days*
Yeah there were a metric crap ton of those chevs everywhere back then.
They are very common here in the south still just about everyone has one sitting in their yard
This is one of the at least two times they did this. The other one had a red Ford and a blue Chevrolet.
Bigfoot 5 actually, not the original Bigfoot 2 with it's 66" tires. Bigfoot 7 also received 10-foot tires after it was used in the movie "Roadhouse".
Bigfoot 7 was converted into a 10ft tire truck back in 1995 if my my memory is correct.
They should do this again, but crush 2 Tesla trucks instead.
The video that can make Dodge and Chevrolet pissed.
Just imagine the cost in chrome those 2 smaller trucks had...
I think they were dummy trucks because the axels didn't look like they were real
They were only mock trucks. Good grief.
Bigfoot wouldn’t build monster trucks that work just to break them, they use money wisely
Just another way that Ford crushes the competition, lol.
Who was more determined here? Big Foot or that old Dodge, refusing to buckle under the tremendous pressure?
Oh God those poor king pins hahaha
Damn that thing had torque!!!
That was cool😎

He said “thanks for the video, unique filming, to ride such a machine only on Mars. “
those were not functional monster trucks. Kramer had to rock back and forth to break the front axle. No way a 5 ton axle would split that easy

FROM THE VAULT...oh I love it.
Poor trucks, they were so cool!
If you look close you can see that the crush trucks are mounted on dead spare axles and have no running gear and I suspect no suspension either.

I always wonderd about the story about the two trucks that were crushed? Where they built just for this? They seem to be not functional.
Definitely low, and it surprised me it took such a struggle to crawl off the trucks.

Dustin Parks it wasn't a struggle, he was going slow so he didn't bounce when he hit the ground. It's more dangerous coming down then going up

What the tape this is taken from I used to have it when I was younger also had big foot chasing a car then going through the house and also trucks racing in water?
A "romantic" representation of how Ford trucks has been always tougher and better than chevy and dodge trucks. This is symbolic but mirrors the truth.
Not really there isn't much ford left on the truck besides the body and engine
When stance nation goes too far. MUST. GET. LOWER
