It took me a month after countless doctor and hospital trips but all my extreme swelling went down after I got steroid pills. From there it took me a few more weeks to gain strength and appetite back and normal functions without being fatigued or sore. Overall 2 months of it, but I’ve been taking different vitamins and been conscious of my immune system so I’m hoping to avoid another bought

Just be prepared and know that you will have to manage this the rest of your life. Stay away from vaccinations, especially for flu viruses and the like because they can trigger a very nasty immune response if you are immune compromised, but may not know it. In short, take care of yourself, eat right, stay away from any drugs and alcohol and be very skeptical of modern medicine vaccinations and prescription drugs. Be your own health advocate. Good luck!

I have been struggling with EBV for years. Recently my mysterious health condition has been ruining my life. Most doctors can't or won't help me. They state that I have a viral infection, and there is nothing I can do. I'm 34, and I want my life back.

I was diagnosed with Lupus some months after a stressful and traumatic event.
For those who say it's impossible to avoid stressful events, yes it is.. but I think what he's implying is finding better ways to cope. We are not taught how to deal with all the stressors and changes of life. That's something we must learn on our path to wellness. It can start with taking at least 10 minutes a day to relax your mind and body, give yourself a safe space to set all worries aside. Start nourishing yourself inside and out. There are no excuses, your health starts with you.

I really wish more doctors talked about how important this is. I had it at 18 years old and now 10 years later, it's reactivated, and I've been ill for over 5 months. It causes all kinds of horrible conditions and cancers and all they tell you is to go home. I view that as malpractice IMO because if people could get a handle on it right away lives could literally be saved. Thank you for talking about this Dr Berg!

I had 3 mononucleosis episodes (EBV) in my life... The first at 16 (2 months sick and extremely weak, school at home, blood count completely messed up, my doctor said to me it was the worst case she has seen in her carreer.....), the second time in my 20 during stress period and an other in my 40 during another stress period. EBV is latent since but stress is definitely a trigger.

Add me to the list of people dealing with EBV. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 12 years ago and then another doctor told me it’s CFS, due to EBV found in my bloodwork. I noticed my body go downhill quickly after I had my one and only child. I always wonder if the stress of childbirth combined with an abusive marriage (good riddance), triggered the EBV. I’m pretty high-functioning but it still is a huge weight to endure every day and I always wonder how much more I could do and be without this hindrance. IF seems to help with inflammation along with consistent exercise. I still need to tighten up doing keto consistently to see if there is any magic with it. But please, please, please do more videos in this realm. It’s unbelievably IGNORED and misunderstood in the conventional medical field. Thanks, Dr. Berg

My latent EBV was activated by a shingles vaccine shot that was supposed to keep me from getting Shingles, but instead I wound up in misery for 10 years before I was able to figure it out. If you are itching, scratching, feel like your body is vibrating, oral thrush, have osteoarthritis, thyroid, gut issues, aches and pains......number one start giving yourself high dose B12 shots sub-cu, at a minimum of 1500 mcg, get a test for high dose vitC , then start getting at a minimum 15g or higher vitC iv, Lugol's iodine 10 drops a day (you will feel awful for a week) to help put the virus back in it's dirty little cave in your liver. Get control of the EBV or you could end up with cancer. Seriously.

Veggie Bee Hey! Anthony Williams doesn’t prescribe a vegan diet, just one lower in meats with more fruits ( i found that wild blueberries really helpful)
Cats claw is tremendously helpful as is ionic silver. I took a lot of supplements so you have to just pick a few that he recommends.
However I also took a homeopathic remedy for this- which probably largely helped with the speed of recovery.
The problem is- even once you are ‘free’ of this virus- it takes a long time to recover physically. The actual ‘die-off’ of the virus is a beast- that’s what makes people feel so crappy.....

Just start taking coconut oil morning and evening. Avoid corn, wheat, gluten, milk, eggs etc. If you take rice and oats let it be in very small qty. Beans is fine. Garlic helps but onions seems a bit harsh for me. And avoid Alcohol like the plaque. Do not use perfumes. Do not touch diesel and Fuel and stay away from mosquitoes infected areas.

I am going to say balderdash that stress is the factor that causes epstein barr to come out of remission. For me, the biggest trigger was the 2nd Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. Besides epstein barr, I have visual snow syndrome with migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, and various digestive and muscular skeletal issues. In addition, I have major hypersensitivity to western medication and certain supplements as taking 400 mg of magnesium where I will be stoned/altered state from a couple of hours to a couple of days.

It is a beast. I'm 8 months into this. It has in many ways destroyed my life and my relationships. Recovery is hard. I've tried everything including prolonged fasting. Cds is helping so I'm sticking with that every day. This is not for the faint hearted.

My autoimmune problems started almost immediately after I got a promotion to maintenance lead at my old job. My boss was a real bastard and made my life a living hell on a daily basis. I no longer work there but I'd still like to bust his lip :) The doctors thought I had Leukemia and I told him I wasn't doing well. He never missed a beat and threatened my job the next day in an email about someone not doing their job, even though I'd already told him many times that they weren't doing their job, only to be told there was nothing I could do about it. F that guy. Choke on a corn chip, boss.

Can Epstein Barr virus make you fat? All of last year I was on a sugar free diet as well as intermittent fasting and walking 15 000 steps. I lost 15kg. Then this February I got mononucleosis and it was like a switch went ON and I started binge eating chocolate. I gained all the weight back and I am having difficulty getting off chocolate again. Does anyone else have a similar experience with EBV? Has mono triggered sugar addiction and weight gain in anyone else? This is not the first time this has happened to me. At least two more times I started gaining weight after being sick. I cannot remember whether it was mono the other two times.

In light of the new information coming out about EBV i.e. studies and similarities to long haulers as well will you be doing an update on this video? Interesting how post viral syndromes mimic each other. Back in the day we were told all those post symptoms were all in our head. These viruses go into remission and lurk and wait like the enemy within. I just bought some lomatium tincture and will give it a try.
