You have come long way since double floppy imperial march. Well done :D
I was just thinking the same thing ^^
It is always nice to see progress :3
Should link to the original in the description
Behold the power that this amount of hardware grants him. He can conquer the galaxy with it.
It's been a long road... gettin' from there to here.
ruclips.net/video/yHJOz_y9rZE/видео.html - because people have trouble finding it.
Ok, this definitely is the droid I'm looking for.

You win the internet good sir/madam.
So that's why the price of old floppy drives have gone through the roof
xD
Have they really? I must be a rich man
That's why I never managed to get one.
Man's been affecting the global supply.
He is assembling his army
@@tangy.mp4300 200,000 floppy drives are ready, with a million more on the way.
True story: I worked on the floppy disk line for Micropolis in the 1970's as a technician. I was fooling around and got the drives to tap out a rhythm. We were only 10 employees then, and the VP heard from his office. I thought I was going to get yelled at. Instead, he and another engineer went back to his office for about an hour, then came out, put a disk in the tester, and proceeded to have the disks tap out a full song on the thing. Hilarious!
Rest in Peace, Eric Dunstin.
Sounds like a great boss with a sense of curiosity, creativity, and humor.
That's so cool!
So, is the Imperial March the equivalent of fully christening a new Floppytron? Because I'm all for that!
Well, he did okay Entry Of The Gladiators during the christening. But I think this is better, a consistent song to measure the amount of range the hardware can give us.
It's the best way to witness the power of this fully armed and flopperational music station!
@@GeofreySanders A truly underrated comment right here.
The Imperial March is only about the last half.
Mistake often made by people just into it for the action.
Luke (and Leia's) Theme has been confused with Imperial and Star Wars (Main) Theme.
Is there one for Floppotron 2?
We have gone from "oh, wow, never knew you could play the imperial march with a few floppy drives" to "this is dark magic, how do those storage and printing devices sound better than my speakers"
I've gone through that in the past 20 minutes. Never heard of this channel before until the Duo Drives vid appeared in my recommended videos. This is awesome.
The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural.
Aren't you hearing them through your speakers?
I want this setup as my speakers now.
No shit with a bit more science I think it's absolutely possible and would sound amazing
Just wait till he gets a bunch of stepper motors from 3d printers
I sense much fear in you young floptron 3, floptron 1 didn't tell you what happened to floptron 2.0, did it?
Floptron 1.0 It told me enough, you killed it!
No Floptron 3.0, I created you with it's parts! You are Floptron 2.0!
Floptron 2.0 Nooooooooooooo!
That's impossible!
Search within your Kernel, and you will know it to be true!
You're a 21st century equivalent to the Majestic Bellowphone.
There's a theme-restaurant here called Organ Stop Pizza. It features a massive pipe organ with loads of accessory instruments. The whole thing is now midi, retrofitted into a "Mighty Wurlitzer" console. I think you're qualified to work on it.
Are you talking about the one in Mesa, AZ? I went there as a kid in the 80's and, AFAIK, it's still in business today. I remember having a blast and have to return sometime!
Oh man, I used to go there when I lived in Mesa. I miss that place, there is truly magic made there.
Is the organ fake now? I went there 10 years ago and the organ was very much real
@@MCDreng It's real, just midi controlled between the console and the valves.
Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational FLOPPOTRON!
You may fire, when ready.
The lightbars on the scanners really ties it all together, specially in the second half. Also the richness of v3.0 sound is fantastic!
Those lights were awesome, gave some serious Luke vs Vadar battle vibes.
You fools! The scanners have been trained in your Jedi arts by count Dooku!
Lightbars? Light sabers!
What color is your light sab- eh scanner?
Standing in the room with all the natural acoustic sounds of the equipment would be mental
It just occurred to me that he set the whole system up perfectly for a musician. The floppydrive "keyboard" clearly indicated what note they were playing and what key. Also, the monitor showed which instruments were currently active as if it's a symphonic score. As an orchestral musician myself, I am considerably amazed the heart and energy that went into this project. Please don't stop making videos. Thankssssss....
If you only knew the power of the FLOPPOTRON!!
@Xenia © Bot
Strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Floppotron will be complete.
May the floppy be with you.
Now witness the power of this fully tuned and operational Floppotron!
I felt a great disturbance in the floppy, as if millions of floppies suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
Okay, the "shave and a haircut, two bits" ending just sent me over the edge🤣🤣🤣
right it flowed together so nicely
While there are plenty of downsides to living in one of the craziest timelines, it also means we get to marvel at and enjoy creations like this.
It’s still short. To the point. No ads. I love it.
Man, i wish we could get Duel of the Fates on Floppotron one of these days, but the chorus will be a real problem.
Get the credit card machines from Device Orchestra to do it
That's what the 128 floppy drives are for instead of driving them like a pipe organ
Yeah, as much as that trilogy sucks some of the music is really great. We did this live way back when ruclips.net/video/97-0ghnBMcs/видео.html
Duel of the Flops
@@goffe2282 The prequel trilogy isn't that bad in retrospect compared to the sequel trilogy that Disney aborted onto the silver screen.
I like to imagine that somewhere inside the Death Star, a Computer Administrator would play the Imperial March in the morning with Floppotron 3.0 hardware.
Makes me hate the rebel scum even more. To think that they destroyed something so beautiful...
Maybe they had Floppotron 66.0 - It was a special Order
This is brillant! Finally the Imperial March came to the set of Instruments it was always meant for. Thank you!
It sounds like that old cellphones ringtones....it's so nostalgic....good job man
The best thing about the Imperial March section is that the sea of floppy disk lights looks like something you'd see in the Death Star or other Imperial tech
Or the blue hard disk lights reminding of ending
Considering the OG movies were from the late 70s early 80s, yeah, they fit that old school sci-fi vibe for sure!
I am always impressed at how you can make an orchestra out og old computer parts. Well done.
Its easy to make an old motor vibrate. But to found so much old stuff and synchronize it and tune it... Oof. Its scares me how much effort goes to maintain all of that.
Parts and external devices.
Needs some Wagner to really stretch its capability.
@@craigrobbins2463 ...and some 1812 Overture for an encore.
I truly believe that sharing stuff like this is the true purpose of the internet.
With tears in my eyes i applaud
I would sooo love to see a Collab with you and Wintergarten ^^

I just love this.
Such a Genius project.
In a galaxy...well...not so far away, a lone genius has accomplished a feat that would impress even the most revered Jedi Masters. Ladies and gentlemen, droids and Wookiees, we present to you the Floppotron 3.0, the brainchild of the one and only Paweł Zadrożniak!
With the symphony of whirring disk drives, clacking hard disks, and beeping scanners, the Floppotron 3.0 is a true masterpiece of musical engineering. It can play the iconic themes and melodies from Star Wars and beyond with unparalleled precision and timing. From the stirring opening fanfare to the ominous strains of the Imperial March, the Floppotron 3.0 is a testament to the power of one person's vision and ingenuity.
But the journey to the creation of this incredible machine was not an easy one. Countless hours were spent designing and building the Floppotron 3.0 from scratch, with only Paweł's singular expertise and determination to guide him. With each new challenge, he persevered, driven by his passion for music and his unwavering belief in the power of technology to create something truly remarkable.
Now, as the Floppotron 3.0 stands before us, we can only marvel at its brilliance. It is a testament to the boundless possibilities of the human mind, and to the incredible things that can be achieved when one person dares to dream big and take bold action.
May the Force be with you, Paweł Zadrożniak, and may your genius continue to inspire us all for years to come.
Playing this version after the previous Floppotron's rendition, you really can hear the difference!

OH COME ON!! 😂😂
Well played
Bamboozled again.
Litterally what i did, and after i finished this was uploaded.. coincidence? I think not
I hate how clever that was
This was the first song I saw of yours when you only had about 2 floppy drives and that was it. I was still blown away back then, but this thing is WOWOWOW, massive improvement. Amazing work.
First time I've seen this and the only word I can think of is SPECTACULAR!!!
I am an old guy and I remember all those sounds and you put that much work to make this, impressive.
Really glad to see this medium of music evolving and growing!
To się robi coraz lepsze z każdym kolejnym filmem
Wow I ve been waiting for this one!!! Just Fantastic

@@gabecimoch2160 report it
That feel when you upgrade from an 8-bit console to a super powerful modern computer but you're still just playing an 8-bit game, just in hi-def. That's the feel I'm getting here. Crazy work man. Just crazy.
Thank you all knowing RUclips algorithm for feeding this masterpiece
This is amazing, but as an old head, there will always be a special place in my heart for the original flopotron
The imperial march will always be a banger
i did a marathon of floppy duo floppy octet floppotron and floppotron 2.0 playing imperial march / star wars theme for a first listen to this version honestly so worth it
I LOVE how the FLOPPOTRON evolved over the years.
Turning loads of deprecated computer equipment into musical instruments: $1000+
Coding out the Star Wars theme line by line: $2000+ of time
Animating the machines to also be visually pleasing: cost $$$ of a pro designer
Ending the Imperial March with Shave & a Haircut: priceless
He's got software to convert it for him these days so he doesn't have to code it manually.
@@DarthEstebanMontoya Yeah yeah. So let's get technical to diminish my point lol. The statement was more for entertainment impact than for practical truth. It's all good, bruthuh!
@@jonthecomposer I hope you mean the entertainment impact of the video as you are riding the coattails of a meme 15 years past its prime, bruv.
@@nettack Why the hate? lol Riding on the coattails of all the other typical internet trolls are we? Brilliant! Next.
@@jonthecomposer What hate? I was only pointing out your unoriginality and lack of entertainment. Even Evan's reply had more of that. So I stand by my point: I surely hope you meant the video. Everything else would be a cognitive dissonance on your part.
This is almost 8 bit quality lol. I can hear similar coming out my old Sega Master System or Atari.
Amazing!!
the LED was wonderfull , i feel me like Darth Vader in the middle
It's kind of an insane thing to do - all that cost and effort to do something that a few musical instruments could do - and yet you have to admire the amazing result. I never thought I'd hear myself say, "This is art!" over a mass of floppy drives and printers.
Imperial strike again 😎😎😎
🎵. Great 👍 job man!!!!
This makes me just feel so good I can't even explain it, nostalgia on so many levels, thank you so much for every Floppotron video you've ever made and may you continue to make many more videos in the years to come =)
The increased number of floppy drives is a noticeable improvement in just how fantastic it sounds
I just realized that the floppy drives were arranged in a way that resembles a piano. Nice touch.
That ending though 😂 This is just fantastic. I particularly love the lighting.
this is just a masterpiece if art. really lovin the 3.0 just amazing
Floppotron 3.0 is like moving from a band to an orchestra
So this is fitting
in the past this construction was a super computer. today its a musical masterpiece
Since the intro of v. 3.0 I was so 100% sure that these tunes, Star Wars main theme and the Imperial March, would belong to the first tunes to be released 😊👍
This is amazing I am so happy to see the flopatron come so far from playing this on two floppy drives
Yo, 3.0 got some power, its got so much more volume now. And the lighting just adds so much to videos
I love the inverted piano key color scheme of the tower of floppies.
Gosh, this is sounding excellent! I know you get countless requests from people, but I really think that Electric Avenue would sound amazing through the Floppotron!
That’s amazing how impressive the 3.0 version is. Do you suppose, it has the capacity to even synthesize speech like those talking midi controlled, acoustic pianos that, I’ve seen, from time to time?
Ah, the classic ending of the Star Wars Theme is so iconic.
A ABSOLUTLY fantastice way to give life to the FLOPPOTRON3.0
hmm, the only problem with this, that it gets better and better, and in one or two more generation, it will be hardly distinguishable from the actual music.
Wowee! Sounds spectacular! Very well done!
Saw a suggestion on the last video I liked, you should have it perform The Stars and Stripes Forever, next!
FANTASTIC! Bravo!
Very cool!!! We are all excited to see what else you will play!
Wow this is amazing!
I'm so glad that the Floppotron has recovered after that unfortunate memory wipe.
