Zoro doesn't have any secret power behind his eye, otherwise he would have unleashed it on Kaido when he did his final attack and said he will put everything into that attack.
I dont beileve its a power in it either just still wanna know how he got it
Not anime logic😂
Facts. I was so hyped thinking about him opening his eye with the ashura form. Bummer. Still good attack tho
He has colors of the kings so that makes him hands down greatest anime swordsman period
@@ty_visa2318 ik he just my favorite anime character of all time I don’t think there is an anime chat he can’t beat
One Eye...One Direction..
Now Zoro never lost...
🤣🤣🤣
😂🤣😂 He still got lost
orrr... instead of just most of the time, he's now always lost. :V
One vision.
cut out both, see what happens XD
But that's his left eye😏 not his right eye😅
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED IT ASWELL
I was about to comment but u did first
HAHAHAHAHA
got 1
thats what i'm thinking.
Caught that immediately
My thoughts about Zoro's eye scar is that it's a sign of thank you or a sign of saying to Hawk Eye that he is willing to give he's eye just to let Hawk Eye know that he doesn't have any debt against him after teaching him. Hawk Eye of course is against Zoro because we all know Hawk Eye loves to fight and find the strongest swordsman better than him that doesn't have any disability so that, that person can fight him at his best. Butt we all know that Zoro is badass, maybe Zoro did the eye scar himself and said "Don't worry, my captain needs the strongest swordsman to become the Pirate King and losing one eye is not a hindrance for me to surpass you! The next time we fight, fight me with all your might and I'll do the same!" Living a scar on his eye at the same time. Hawk Eye just smiled and said "I'll wait that day you become worthy to be killed by me!"
SAY MIHAWK
I aint readin allat
@@karansahai9463 took like 15 seconds to read the OP lmao...
Thank you for saving me 10 minutes! Glad i checked the comments right away
Personally, I think maybe Zoro had troubles learning/activating Observation Haki, eventually, he realized that without learning it, he will not be able to continue his path, so he cut out one of his eyes as a way to force himself to fight on the same or higher level than what he was previously capable of.
he nerfed himself😭
that makes sense because his sense of direction sucks
@@talonfusco9564 more like buff. Without observation haki it will be very hard to survive the new world.
@@randomahnameisthename3147 I'm in water 7 atm I don't know what haki is yet😅
@@talonfusco9564 bro what 💀
Mihawk didn't attack Zoro's eye, Zoro did that to himself. He was trying the thing he did with Sandai Kitetsu (throwing it in the air seeing if his luck would save him from being cut) but this time with Mihawk's pocket knife. This was his means to see if he had what it took to wield it. As Oda put it, Zoro lost something important that day.
So he threw a knife into the air and caught it with his face... genius
@@mastercharlesdiltardino8058bro was testing hi plot armour to the limit
LEFT EYE LEFT EYE LEFT EYE.
I think its so obvious that zoro got lost into the naruto verse on his way back to sabody and was the shadowy figure seen before obito died. Zoro somehow then managed to get a sharingan and didnt want to use it because he wanted to challenge himself.
Wow idk how I didn't see it before now everything makes sense!
Clear as say
Do make sense
Zoro vs Shiriyu is going to be such an interesting fight. He will have to rely entirely on observation haki and fight an invisible opponent.
The fact that kuma sent zoro to mihawk make me think that mihawk is actually an ally with people like kuma and dragon these people and it’s part of the bigger plan. And multiple times mihawk could have kill luffy but he didnt. Mihawk Definitely is an ally or on the good side.
or at the very least Kuma respected that man and knew just who Zoro needed to achieve his dream
bro, it's remind me the episode when luffy tell people not to trust aoikiji bc his a marine
Mihawk is under Dragon
@@berlinglasgow4942 and for what reason that kuma knew mihawk is gonna help him? so it's most likely mihawk is kuma ally related to the revolusion
They were both warlords 🤷🏻♂️
I think its pretty obvious that after Zoro finished his training with Mihawk, Mihawk commended him on learning so well, and then without warning he slashed out and cut Zoro's eye. Mihawk then said "That is only a reminder, come after me again and I will kill you" simply because when Zoro asked to be trained he said directly he would try and kill Mihawk once he was good enough. Mihawk's reply was an especially sinister laugh, I think he already knew what was going to happen at that point. Incidentally Perona was the one that sewed Zoro's eye shut afterward. One of her skills must be sewing. After the timeskip both Perona and Zoro arrive and leave wearing new outfits. Perona was the only one that could have made both of their outfits.
See now I think zoro did it himself to focus on learning Haki
Can’t wait to watch hope it’s good edit: it was very good thanks for the good vid
One of the recent episodes the old guy was explaining how he was exactly like those famous samurai, being a one eyed swordsman
Zorro lost his eye (testing his worthiness) against mihawks kogetana (small blade). Like he did with his kitetsu swords.....he was not worthy and lost his eye.
I was looking for this comment. All these theories when the answer was literally given to us. “That day, Zoro lost something very important” referring to his eye 🤦🏿♂️
I think that Zoro is constantly storing haki energy into his left eye to keep feeding asura so that if the need arises he opens his eye and becomes completely op with haki energy and becomes more visualy as asura then when he first showed off his asura attack
It is the left eye, not the right eye...... ;-)
In my vision of Zoro, I see him as being so determined to achieve his goal, that he may have done this to himself so as to become even stronger because of the lack of part of one of the main senses he needs to fight with swords. Also have an idea that Shanks and Mihawk are brothers. Mihawk being a bit older. I also wonder why did Kuma know to send everyone where they needed to go and all of the people who received them went on to train them? My curiosity has manifested into a real being, and is now sitting beside me. Oda, how can we ever repay you?
my thought on the cut eye is that mihawk cut it to heighten zoros observation haki or heighten his senses
I think Kuma didn’t really know. Luffy almost died and sacrificed himself for that girl who cared about him in Amazon Lily and that’s what made Boa fall for him. If it wasn’t for that then they woulda killed him and Kuma would have sent him to his death basically
SIMILAR TO THE BLIND ADMIRAL YEA?
@@sausage5033 Also Ussop landed on a literal deathtrap...
*cough* LEFT EYE.
0:36
I tell you this only one time
He didn‘t lose Hits right-, he lost his left aye
Legend says zoro have sharingan on his left eye xD
vid was awesome
Shanks loss his arm because he forgot his haki🤭🤭🤭
Shanks losses his arm cause "the seaking was a special breed that nullfiies haki" , whole filled.
Him cutting his own eye is the most Zoro thing I've ever heard honestly.
It’s just very interesting that his ancestors have that very same cut too
My theory behind his eye is that if he regains sight and has both eyes again. He will stop getting lost.
in the manga i think there was something he did that accidentally made him lose an eye, and i think it was the same thing that he did with the cursed katana in lougetown but with the little dagger mihawk had to see if he was worthy enough to wield it but it stabbed his eye leaving a scratch and no eye in there
He got drunk and sayd " do you think i can pull my eye out without flinching?"
Mihawk attacked his eye to give us more filler episodes
Awesome
It would be interesting if later towards the end of the one piece storyline it comes to light he is much stronger with both eyes. Maybe Luffy commenting on zorro facing a yanko and how he's not worried about zorro and that the yanko is the one in danger given zorro felt the need to use both eyes.
In our culture you have to give something in return to you teacher to learn from him since zoro didn't had anything he sacrificed his eye, there are people in history who sacrificed their fingers to the his teacher the teacher asked so cause he thought he is too skilful which is dangerous so maybe that's why mihawk asked for his eye
Im dropping a sub bc i find myself watching your videos pretty frequently when they pop up in my recommended, but how i watch them isnt gonna change only bc i only watch my recommended videos i havent even looked at my sub list in like 3-4 years 😭 my recommended is more interesting and talored to me lol
i always thought the concept of mihawk took his eye in exchange to train him considering that type of training should come at a price especially from the enemy
nooo i thought he was just keeping it shut for training and he would open it when he finally fought mihawk for real.
I think he cut his own eye, because he was trained by the person he's ment to fight. To get his pride back, like a sacrifice for letting his end opponent train him.
Think about it, Zoro has a lot of pride for being a swordsman. And he would have felt ashamed for letting Mihawk train him, without any sacrifice. The least he could do is take half of his sight.
I think mihawk took his eye because he trained him, mihawk knows how well his eyes help him like he’s nicknamed Hawkseye for a reason! 😂 Mihawks was disappointed that Zoro came to him begging for him to train him because he wanted him (zoro) to become greater than him on his own. That’s why he laughed at him like who the hell trains someone to kill them 😂🤷🏽♂️ so Zoro eye was the price!
To win you don't have to kill , how many characters Zoro actually killed? Plus if he will take his eye for that reason that will mean he admitted that he is in some way afraid of him and I don't think he is that type of man.
@@emila732 I’m just quoting what mihawk said, I mean it is a pirate world their in 🤷🏽♂️ we all know zoro not that type but mihawk still have to respect the fact that they’re pirates lol we all know how the straw hats are but he didn’t know zoro like that and he not scared of zoro but definitely thought he had a true heart of an swordsman plus the potential of being a great rival for him, that’s why he didn’t kill zoro because he was suppose to honestly 🤷🏽♂️ even Luffy thought he killed zoro because that’s how it goes… but he didn’t and wanted to fight him when he got stronger, so he sliced him with his black blade 😂 his way on honoring and yet admiring him 🤣
@@elchoppo2155 Mihawk wouldn't even duel with Shanks anymore because Shank's lost an arm. I literally can't see Mihawk doing that as a character. He wants to go against a person at their strongest, and doesn't want them to have any handicaps. He wants to enjoy an all-out duel.
@@ghoulishtheories7979 I like that! I believe it can go both ways now. It could be your theory or my theory because he still didn’t train shanks 🤷🏽♂️.. who else on that island could ever do that to zoro eye!? 🤔
The flerken scratch his eye. Lmao
I still believe his closed eye is a power limiter and will be opened in the final battle against Imu or against Blackbeard's crew.
I really thought it was because of the monkey cut his eye out not actually Mihawk. And I'm starting to feel like Shanks is the next Target to train Zoro.
Dam his right eye gonna get sealed after that?
Honestly, Zoro became my favourite character because his character helped me a lot on One Piece: Grand Adventure PS2 games. His character suits my gameplay the most from SHP group. But, what makes me keep liking him as my favourite character is his character writing in the manga though.
Remember in loguetown when he wanted to be shanks and lose his arm while spinning a sword? In timeskip he did the same thing with mihawks mini dagger and since he wasn't worthy it cut his eye.
I think it's aesthetic alone, at this point I don't even want it answered lmao.
the great thing about it is that Oda can do whatever he wants with it. Maybe it's just to paralell Ryuma or maybe Oda feels like making it a hawkeye after fighting with it shut for so long. Perhaps that is the way to unlock it. then again mihawk does have the hawkeyes as a kid so.. maybe not
Mihawk knows Zoro will become top dog of the seas one day. I think mihawk fears but also yearns for Zoros future battles will be more fun than Shanks so he sliced his eye out of respect for the battles he use to have with Shanks. He sliced his eye in order to keep the memories of the best sword fights he had with Shanks n their fights exclusive. Now that Shanks missing an arm. Mihawk made Zoro injured to match Shanks handicap. But I also think Zoro will surpass two handed shanks someday n Mihawk will have to deal with it
I Think Mihawk Know He Has Something Special That Must Be Hold Back By Zoro So When He Wanted To Be Trained He Tooked Hes Eye For Hes Offer
Am I the only one who wants to see Zoro wear an Eyepatch? He is a Pirate after all!
I think he got lost and ended up in Naruto. He has the sharingan.
He took his eye because he trained the man who is destined to surpass him. That's why Mihawk took his eye.
doubt it, mihawk doesn't want to fight anyone thats disabled. Thats why he doesnt want to fight shanks
That was how he paid Mihawk (his rival) for training him, nothing is free.
He is going to have the best Haki in that eye that’s why he is having it closed to hone in the observation haki my take
It’s funny to ask “do you think the creator is lying?” Lol
It’s the LEFT EYE OMFG
Just wait until his eye gets healed later on, and gains more power due to full periphery
He still has his right eye lol. 👁
He lost his eye because he got caught slipping by hawk eye during training
i heard that zoro just tryed testing his fate like he did in louge town with mihawks dagger and it didnt work like last time
I think that's his left eye my guy
nice
If for Shanks losing the arm was the necessary for him to not compete for being the best swordsman, does losing the eye does the same thing to Zoro?
Great video.
😁👌
What if he keeps it close for training like some characters use only left hand and start using right when serious? Usually our sight is focus on one dominating eye so with the other one we see expirience more dead spots , maybe he wants to train his weaker eye, and as longs as he not master it he will not open it?
I'd really love to see Fujitora go against Mihawk as we don't know the difference in their levels 👀👀
If you don’t want to watch 10 minutes in one sentence “ mihawak did it” 😂
I bet he calls the left hand of somebody who stands opposite of him right hand too😂
I Hope he can become the best SWORDMAN Is a beautiful character 👏💪
Fujitora didn't even need a single eye 😂
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
The left eye of Zoro. 👁 the swordman of death.
He got sharinggan for sure
I guess I'm a one piece fan now, I've watched like 20 one price vids this past week. Time to start the manga.
Oda definitely has something in the works with the eye
Ngl I still hope there's actually Google maps in that eye
Because he realized his ancestors all had a cut on their eye.
I think once his white sword finally awakens, it will open his eye kind of like lord shishimaru in inuyasha
The weapons that Zoro gain doesn't level him up or make him stronger, they just let him bring out his true power because normal swords can't stand his true power and would break easily under his real strength. So, the Swords he gains doesn't make him stronger they just let him bring out his real strength without worrying about the weapons breaking.
Make them videos shorter....still love all your contents
He's trying to improve his observation haki to extreme level so he close his next eyes
4:30 Saying mihawk shattered zoros blades and cuts him with a tiny blade, while zoro gets almost cut in half with yoru :o
actually theres a popular theory that many characters have a marking or symbol around their LEFT eye and it is connected to laugh tale because the skull island is missing a left eye so laugh tale fits into the skull island so laugh tale is where the one piece is
He just knows how to use a sword he mostly uses hockey
I think, Mihawk just ordered Zoro to close his eye (because it was stronger then the other). Zoro coudnt resist to use his stronger eye so Mihawk cut through his eye just to teach Zoro a lesson not to use it, until his weaker eye will not became stronger. Just a theory
His left Eye, will be his ultimate Trump Card bro! Nice Vid Bro
zoro lost to mihawk again and told him to strike him once again but this time it was his eye
Eyes open or closed doesn't matter - Zoro
"More aware of his surroundings" 💀
You continuously said right eye, but that's actually left 😗😗😗😗
Left eyes! You bugging!!
It’s the characters left eye from sorrows viewpoint, to us it’s on our right but it’s sorrow left so it’s the left eye
I don't know how to put this but no master will ever take an L when he trains his pupil to be better than him. That is every masters wish. Nobody wants to pass on their legacy to someone weaker than them.
he still has his right eye, it's his left eye that was cut out
I Still Wouldn't Be Surprised If There Was An AlterEgo/Demon With Zoro Left Eye Think About It Cavandish Also Has A Demon/AlterEgo That Controls Him When He Falls Asleep Who Knows Maybe Zoro Can't Control The Demon That's Why He Keeps His Eye Closed
i always felt like it was mihawk's way of forcing zoro to develop effective observation haki
Does everyone forget one of his swords being possessed by a spirit that he hadn’t tamed yet or didn’t agree to him yet I thought maybe through the use of haki zoro would have to make a deal with it being the reason why he has a move set that he doesn’t want any of the crew to be around him when he uses it incase he hurts them cause it’s not actually zoro but the spirit of the sword kinda like how shisui was in his own sword zoro has a sword with an unknown powerful spirit that I think Mihawk could sense and knew zoro needed to beat if he wanted to continue wielding the sword
I think Mihawk cut his eye because Zoro caught him by surprise and forced him to get serious for a second
its probably a trade for mihawk's mentorship.
Cost for training with mihawk
Hawk eye asked for zoros eye to see how important its is for him to be strong swords man of all time
Zoro left eye is closed for training purposes!!! He will open it when he is ready to face Mihawk!! I said it first!!
Zoro opened that eye in one those episodes
Are we going to ignore that his “right eye” is actually left?
@Anime no Mi I have a feeling Zoro may have cut one of his eyes himself so he could get better at observation haki, that would look cool. Something like when he almost cut off his legs to fight Mr. 3
I hear him say right eye but I see it's on his left eye
