  • In today's adventure, we explore an Eccentric Model train Collectors home! Not much info was found about this one, unfortunately. It seems like the house was abandoned sometime in 2020 to make way for new development.

When I was a kid I had friend who had a train track suspended from the ceiling and I also new a few people who had a track system in the attic, so seeing this house for me is freaking cool. . They could have been from Odessa Ukraine. That bed upstairs is less 12 years old. Definitely a cool Explore Noah; Keep Orange Crushing It!

It must've took the owner a long time to construct all of that! 😮

Great explore, Noah. I really hope that a family member got all the trains and not thieves. My guess? Maybe the 2020 calendar was from one of the kids or grandkids who inherited the house and they traded the train cars for pot plants!😒 Just for future explores, you can find the date of a catalog near the UPC, address label or the spine. 😊👍

From the outside the house looks very small . The owner loved trains. Creepy basement. Awesome video Noah.

It is quite a small home but the owner filled it with his passion, that's for sure! Thanks for watching!

Great job on this video! That basement staircase is a tight squeeze eh? I had to be careful not to smoke my head lol. Also, I'm grateful to you for giving me a heads up not to open the bathroom closet door 💩

Super utilitarian train set ups. That guy wasn't much for making his layouts realistic or beautiful (which is the norm). The O gauge is a chunky gauge! I'm guessing he was a bachelor 😄. Neat find!

Wow! I love O-gauge mdel trains. My favourite is actually the N-gauge miniature ones. Would love to do something like that in my basement... Great find!

Colorado says “Thanks Noah”, another great explore. The amount of work and the miles of track in that house is beyond my imagination. Stay safe and well. Tell your dad “Hi” for us. See you on the next one.

the empty boxes alone are worth money to avid collectors. the track is valuable also. whoever cleaned the place out left a lot of fruit on the vine.

The guy must have had a good supply of broken or worn-out hockey sticks, probably from someone working at a hockey arena. He was a huge railroad fan for sure but it seems to me that he wasn't the best craftsman as all the installations have a pretty makeshift look. I guess if the owner or anyone else who has any clue had taken the trains they would also have taken the boxes and probably also the tracks, maybe the pot-growing dudes took and sold them. Maybe his wife had passed quite some time ago and he built the upstairs tracks only when he was alone and probably also because he had more and more problems getting in and out of the basement at an elderly age.
Those shelves behind the couch were definitely to display the trains and carriages, maybe they were there already before there were upstairs tracks.
That thing you thought might be a needle could also be a precision oiler.
It is really difficult to imagine that someone lived in this house until October 2020, as you said it must have been pretty run-down then already.

Very interesting explore Noah! I was into model railroading many years ago - but certainly not to this degree. I was more into HO scale - and had a bedroom sized room for my layout. This person appears to have had an obsession! Thanks for taking us along!!

That one was a wild one. Old bachelor with train passion, and despite the "planted" 2020 calendar, I'd say that place has been abandoned since the early 90s (tv set) though clearly some transfer of property happened in the early 70s. What a mystery to the rest. Maybe greedy and dumb nephews took the trains but didnt think to take their boxes? Collectibles AND their boxes are valuable. Thanks, Noah.
