We sold the car last year. Originally built by a guy in Vegas then to a friend of mine in Texas then we ended up with it. All I will say is it is " up north ". To answer a few questions: No the engine didn't blow up, that was the packing from the mufflers blowing out of the exhaust. Yes MUFFLERS. It was a street car after all. It was set up on a progressive hit and very fast ramp in hit. It was a wet shot with a custom built puck system by Nitrous Outlet. Dave called it the Super Pucker. It would flow to 1,000hp shot but with the cylinder heads that were on the engine, it didn't make any more power after about 750hp shot. EFI all controlled through a Holley Dominator system. As far as dyno numbers.... it was a grudge car. Lot of weight reduction also.
Ill take a guess.......1000hp on motor, near 2000hp on rocket juice
i was going to say it looks very familiar one of my pot farmer friends owned one that about looks like its twin from texas he blew the motor up. made insane power pretty sure he went to twin turbo big block making 2000hp . he has a video of him cruising around in the middle of a blizzard in his lambo with new studded tires someplace on youtube

It's not that crazy, Holley dominator has inputs for 8 stages, you could run 3500hp worth of nitrous easily if the engine is built right

Engines on a 800 shot of NOS -> don't last VERY long.... super HARD on the crank, connecting rod, rings and pistons with this amount of FORCE. KINDA like taking drugs, it's HARD on the body system...... BUT it's a SICK video and TOTALLY COOL to watch.

What was static compression ratio and was it pump gas? It had a rough idle, some from cam, but maybe some from running a low static CR. If running racing fuel, dynamic CR can be higher. Pump gas, maybe 12.5 : 1
To pump that much Nitrous and extra fuel, is same effect as a supercharger or turbo pushing 15-30 psi. If no dished pistons, extra thick head gaskets, and huge cc's on combustion chambers, engine would literally blow up. At the very least, engine would experience serious knock.
Benefit of running low static CR ... you more than make up for it with more boost. Bottom end not so good.
Certain melting things come to.mind when you see those flames. Like peoples legs.
