    Here’s my review of the 18v lithium ion cordless handheld vacuum by Makita. I love this little thing. Here’s what you get in the box for $89

    The reviews were very straightforward! I'm looking for an easy-to-use cordless vacuum cleaner. The other day I also reviewed the cordless vacuum cleaner with a video. I will come to play again. With love from Japan :)

      Everything I own must be made in Japan as they alway known for innovation and quality. I will buy a Makita vaccum (and also a power drill). Especially when Hitachi never sell their vaccum to us.
      Now I'm a hardcore fan of Makita

    They are great. I have 3 of them and 2 of the cyclone attachments. I am 6'-3" and the cyclone adds the right amount of extension for comfort.

    Thanks for sharing here. Your demonstration of the vac working was convincing to me however I believe that one of the best features (you almost got there too) for me at least is that I have quite a few other Makita tools so having another to share batteries with seems to make a real lot of sense as I should never run out of power for the Vac. Reckon I will also buy one but there are many Makita models to choose from so it will pay to know which one is being purchased. (Buyer beware!). Thanks again and cheers.

    I just received my makita 18v lxt lithium-ion compact vacuum kit. Mine is little different but, I turned on your video hoping you would show me how to take off the battery and u bypassed it. It may be I'm too weak to pull it off. I read to make sure the vacuum is on Off but, I don't see an off button on the vacuum anywhere so, I am guessing they are talking about just keep your fingers OFF the trigger. Anyway, I will try, try again. Thanks

      @@Archifx I have already checked, as long as the Amount of Ah should not have a negative impact on the device, so the standard batteries I use for my 1.5 Ah 18V makita tools have a different SLOT, so I need to get dedicated batteries and a charger for this vacuum cleaner.

    Is this one you got one of the 3-speed versions? If I didn't know better (basing this on the sound I hear in this video) that's the same motor that's in our B+D cordless handheld we got a few years ago. The major difference to the B+D being 2X the cost (3-4X if you get one with a battery, charger, and cyclonic attachment) because it's a higher-end brand with that Maki-teal, and the replaceable, removable battery. That's the biggest fault of the B+D, which uses a hodge-podge of NiCad cells for which they do not sell replacements for and you can't fix reasonably below the unit's original cost once the cells stop holding charge.
    What I don't get about these Makita cordless hand vacs is why there are so many versions of it. White and black, all white, white with transparent teal canister, black with teal handle, all black, black w/ opaque teal canister, black with clear teal canister...a couple are 3-speed versus single speed, but they all physically look identical beyond color.

    • @ianmac86
      @ianmac86 4 года назад

      Hey Paul. You are spot on with your observation on colour but as you probably know the various models (with different numbers etc) provide various specifications stating / suggesting better performance I believe.

    • @PaulAngileri
      @PaulAngileri 4 года назад

      @@ianmac86 Ya, most of them are 18v LXT, but a few are 12v CXT. The costlier ones also state that they are 3 speed, and/or they have the cyclonic attachment.
