Lots of DnD, Warhammer and LARP talk in this episode, fellas. Anyone else here a fan of tabletop gaming?
Love tabletop. I've started playing DnD 5e weekly recently. Someday, I'd actually like to do a Warcraft campaign, but gathering a table for that might be just a dream.

I play warhammer AoS and D&D, stopped playing wow back at the start of shadowlands. I am really looking forward to the new AoS Spearhead.

I did this back in 2006 or something like that as a Night Elf, started as lvl 1 from the starting zone all the way to Gadgeztan. My son was watching me do it and was very scared when I was crossing over from Ashenvale to the Barrens, there are the Horde faction NPC´s at the entrance. He is now 24 and sometimes we laugh about the journey :D

idk why nixxiom is my favourite thing to listen to while lifting weights. don't ask me such trivial things.
On the Painting part, I totally understand the pipeline of how models go. I used to be afraid to paint them because I knew that I would never be able to get to the point others are at. But I finally got to a point where I can say that I am comfortable and love watching the whole models come together.
Would be super cool to have a map on the side tracking their overall progression!

I’m gonna slowly figure out if I actually liked cataclysm or if I just liked WoWcrendor machimas.
I am also an ex wow addict, gone tabletop D&D and warhammer, mini painting. This was a fun chat!
I have a touch of OCD and prefer things in their correct order which is probably why I prefer linear leveling.
You gentlemen sound like my brothers from other mothers. Just hanging out and BSing about great hobbies.

Currently doing 5E. One thing I was going to bring up during the conversation (but I lost my train of thought) was how they're apparently releasing a new editing of the Player's Handbook later this year. Looking forward to seeing all the changes.
@@NixxiomOnRUclips Cool! 5e is good introduction for new players (I myself am DMing campaign for 3 new players and 2 intermediate) ^^. It has good balance between hardcoreness of (my beloved) 3/3.5e and MMOization of 4e xD
You don't "cut trough" the world when leveling on DF in most level ranges.
40:19 I never minded the maw but I only did it once a week to kill world bosses. In my mind maw was content for people that wanted to do it because it only gave sockets on gear. You didn't need the sockets so you didn't need to grind for them unless .. you wanted to and I know I sure didn't and in turn didn't mind going to the maw once a week.
Its like people killed themselves doing content they hate just for a few sockets on gear that really didn't even change parses. I dont' get why people are there own worst enemy lol. IMO people just need to get better at parsing out if rewards are really worth the grind and just don't grind for things you dont want to.
DnD 5e probably isnt the system to use if you want full immersion, I would suggest basic roleplay universal game engine if you don't like the "level up" mechanics.
