Yes, you should. I guess it only runs well on the latest xbox generation, comparable to the PS5. It's not really enjoyable on the PS4 system, comparable to the XBox One. I'd like to know, if Xbox users have the same issues with running the Stalker trilogy on the older consoles, because you really should play it with 60 fps. And yes I am already playing it on the PS5, Microsoft's archenemy 😅, very enjoyable.
For a game from 2007, it looks like a leap into the future - a game ahead of its time
for a game from 2007,my 2012 office laptop runs it better than the xbox does
Alot of games from the 1990s and 2000s had that feel :)

to be honest the A-Life engine that simulates life in the zone without your interaction is still even to this day ahead of its time. only a few games have pulled of a system like that let alone a FPS game.
thats why im afraid of S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2,Since its not on the X-Ray Engine like the original 3 and rather on Unreal I feel like the whole "zone feels alive" element of the game is gone@@cosmicxsolitude6947

Honestly really impressive how smooth these games are and how well they play, I never thought I’d see the day this would happen, and then to also add that we are getting an Xbox series x/s update that will add mod support for consoles at a later date is great!

@@Glitchedpixel5 so I’m not sure if mod support is going to be next gen only but we are getting mod support when they do the next gen upgrade, so it possible that Xbox one will also have mod support they just obviously won’t get the same upgrades in graphics that series x gets

Just got the trilogy and man do i love this series loved it on pc but unfortunately my pc stopped working so im just glad im able to play stalker again. Oh also amazing video keep it up

I'm jealous of you Xbox heads experiencing this for the first time. Before I had a PC games like Stalker are why I even wanted one in the first place.
It's also on Sony's consoles both the PS4 and PS5.

This port got me to play vanilla stalker after years of just playing gamma and other modpacks. I have to say I'm impressed, especially with the updated gunplay
I played this on PC way back.i had to go into the game code to disable headbob. Does the port have the option to disable headbob?

Own the trilogy on PC. Its good that these games are getting more exposure. Good to see it on more platforms. The more fans the series has the better it is for its future.

@@skr8swagg40 Probably because metro is based on the book "Metro 2033" which in turn was inspired by "roadside picnic" which was the core inspiration for the STALKER series.

Even the original from 2007 UNPATCHED will work straight out of the box on Windows 11. I think you need a new PC or need to ask an adult to help you use them.

Loved this game series as a kid, just bought and downloaded the trilogy for xbox and it instantly feels a lot clunkier than it used to do. I swear i used to roll over that army base at the beginning with ease, growing old sucks 😂 gsc need to remove the merc suit in the crate at the beginning and place the stalker suit back too😂

I am staring at it, pausing and zooming, there’s more bushes and brighter colours and sometimes different lighting.
This is a very, very subtle remaster. Or it’s “refined” it says on the store so that’s a better description I guess.

I mean, I’ve bought it and it’s downloading now but it looks looked it’s going to be difficult to tell the difference.
I noticed it too, the foliage looks really good and the shadows are just amazing

It's impressive how they managed to port these pieces of art, knowing the X-RAY engine it wasn't easy.
As someone who never played them, should I wait on a sale or just play it?

Shadow and call are for sure so I would assume that clear sky is aswell
The games on ps5 and xbox series x and s have 60 fps but xbox one and ps4 doesn’t have it
How long (hours wise) are they each?
Shadow of Chernobyl took me 40 hours (with side content and doing two endings)
Clear sky and call of pripyat can last 20 hours more or less
You can rush through and complete the storyline in a few hours, but there is a lot of content, side quests etc outside of that. I'm still playing it now and I got it in 07, still finding new stuff. (Although PC mods help)
I sill remember all of this as an experience

4k60 on series x and one x. Base xbox one and series s are 1080, with series s being 60fps and base xbox one being 30.

Unless if they changed it the best difficulty settings is master makes the damage realistic and the AI difficulty hard enough to be entertaining

If you want improvements, just look for mods that do the same things. The console versions aren't that different from vanilla PC.

Aiming is horribly bad on consoles. At PC I go staight from the rookie village to the military post with pistol only, at console I cant even pass Wolf first mission 😢
Litearlly a skill issue just learn how to aim on a controller

Make sure to really mess with your sensitivity settings A lot. Each game requires more attention to those settings on console. I thought it felt like trash too until I spent a while in the settings
I had an easier time once I turned aim assist off.
I genuinely rather play them on my PlayStation 5 instead of pc now

please GSC XBOX 360 version, 720 and 30 fps will be really magical, it would be like the best marketing and PR move you guys could do, everyone who doesn't know the saga would know it with that move.

The fact that a 2024 release is available on XBOX ONE from 2013 is already a stretch for console gaming.
An XBOX 360 version @ 30FPS and 720p would be cool but support for that console ended a very long time ago.
I appreciate that in some parts of the world, even an XBOX ONE in 2024 is expensive, but that's better than having to buy an XSX or XSS.

@@purebaldness I was astonished to see that this trilogy was dropping on both Xbox 1and Series X; I had been under the impression that Microsoft had fully abandoned releasing games for the Xbox 1 now that the Series X has been out for a couple years.
@@NoahZitallthere are still Xbox one games being released in 2024. And there are still plenty of old consoles being used to play and buy games.
There's not much in terms of 1st party support though. Just live service game updates, like maybe Sea of Thieves.
It's also released on the PS4.
Why would this game be released on a 360? That's like demanding it to be released on the PS3 as well. 360 and the ps3 couldn't support games like this.. you're asking for something you have no idea how it be processed.

Because the game is set in Ukraine and there is both Russian and Ukrainian spoken language. Because lore wise there are also Russians running around etc.

@@KoRnBulleTnah, original game 1999-2007 was developing in Russian, Ukrainian, English and other localisations were added much later. So this console port is basically poor work, because like 35 % of game still in Russian.

Anomaly wipes the floor with the trilogy. I have the original dvds still sitting in a box in mint condition. I won't be touching them. They just seem primitive compared to anomaly with new levels and content, better graphics even on a dx8 render, better mechanics and gameplay, free, supported continously and only on pc
